Petit restaurant, très charmant ! Nous sommes allés manger là par hasard & nous avons eu la chance d'être servis par Jeanne. C'est une excellente serveuse qui est attentionnée & qui prend le temps pour ses clients. & que dire de la nourriture ! 4 plats différentes à notre table, 4 excellents plats ! Nous y retournerons sûrement lors de notre prochaine visite !
Staff was very friendly, nice atmosphere. Food was okay. Maybe I ordered the wrong tacos, but the pulled pork one was cold & lacking in flavor. The rest of the table enjoyed their fish tacos & burrito.

Les brunchs sont très bons & ça fait changement des déjeuners des franchises. Le mimosa était offert gratuitement ce matin-là. Attention au service qui a tendance à choisir l'anglais (proprio je crois), alors que la serveuse était impeccable.
Toujours un plaisir de passer manger ou prendre un verre au El Gordo. Les employés sont chaleureux, la nourriture est excellente & les cocktails originaux. Définitivement un incontournable de la rue Notre-Dame. Je recommande fortement.
Best tacos in town & the chicken quesadilla is to die for!!!! Great cocktail list & the staff is super friendly! I can't wait for their patio this summer!!!
J'ai eu l'occasion de célébrer un anniversaire avec des amies samedi passé au resto El Gordo & je dois dire que l'expérience a été vraiment excellente. Le service était impeccable, le personnel était attentif & sympathique. La nourriture était délicieuse, avec des plats savoureux typique mexicain & bien présentés. Dans l'ensemble, c'était une expérience mémorable & je recommande vivement ce restaurant pour toute occasion spéciale!
Les tables sont vraiment trop rapprochées. Parfois la conversation des autres prennent plus de place que la nôtre.
L'entrée était moyenne pour chacune de nous par contre le Fajitas était succulent.
El Gordo is a great Mexican restaurant to grab taco. Went there for dinner on weekday. Wasn't crowded & had plenty of seats. We ordered nachos, drinks & tacos. The food was delicious & good portion size too. However just a point to note, all the dishes has plenty of vinegar soaked onion making the dish tangy which we enjoyed a lot but might not be for everyone.
