Très bon brunch chez Eggstatic ! J'ai pris les oeufs bénédictine façon Nashville, bien relevés & savoureux, tandis que mon accompagnateur a opté pour la version avec halloumi & olives un beau twist original sur le classique.
Les deux assiettes sont accompagnées de patates rôties, tomates cerises & raisins frais.
Petit bémol : l'attente pour recevoir les plats était un peu longue, mais le service est resté attentionné & souriant tout au long du repas. Une belle adresse pour un brunch à Montréal, à essayer!
Worst service ever. Just left the place now without even getting a glass of water. Eggstatic griffintown If I could give a 0 star, I would. No one at the door, we just entered & a lady at the kitchen told us to sit anywhere. Table was set but not clean, figured out there's a QR code, sat there for more 10 minutes without anyone coming to ask us anything. No water, nothing. Called the waiter, he just asked if we were ready to order, then left & got busy with something else. It was not even a full house, plenty of empty tables.
waited at the door for 10 minutes, nobody came. walked in ourselves, nobody seated us & we had to seat ourselves. did not serve us water. after about 15 minutes seated no water, no service. we called the waiter over & he said okay but still did not take our order. restaurant was not even at max capacity, plenty of empty tables & a lot of them were still dirty. we decided to leave. do not recommend. our table had stains from previous customers as well
Food was very good. Beyond expectations but it has to be said that service wasn't... it is very hard to get a waiter to your table & plenty of beginner mistakes like not having cutlery, orders to wrong table, order not having what it should, slow service, looking around but not *actually* looking at people waving for service,...
Eggstatic is one of the most impressive brunch restaurants in Montreal. Their menu has a lot to it & most of what I've had has been amazing.
I went there 3 days in a row lol so I got to try a lot & I can say that the shakshuka is my favourite thing on the menu & the best I've had. Shakshuka has, over the years, become one of my favourite breakfast foods. Also to die for is the trio molten llava cake; simply spectacular.
Overall, Eggstatic is really good. Hussein & Ahmed were amazing with the service & I hope you guys keep it up.
I got an amazing service by Hussein! The food is incredible so is it's presentation & the prices are totally affordable. You can feel the quality of the food. I brought my family over for my mom's birthday… let me tell you every employee & the customers at the restaurant clapped & wish my mother a very happy birthday. That brought tears to my mother's eyes. I always have such a good time going there.
