Nous avons toujours cru que le brunch est bien plus que de la nourriture — il s’agit de rassembler les gens et de rendre chaque matin spécial. De la première bouchée à la dernière, nous sommes là pour créer des instants qui apportent du soleil à votre journée.
Eggstatic est perçu comme une découverte réussie pour un brunch à Montréal, avec une offre variée et généreuse, une ambiance spacieuse et agréable, et un service chaleureux et attentif. Les avis apprécient surtout le caractère halal du menu, la qualité et les portions importantes, ainsi que l'inspiration moyen orientale et fusion canadienne qui donnent des plats savoureux et bien présentés. Le lieu est souvent décrit comme lumineux, moderne et calme, idéal pour un brunch en famille ou entre amis, avec une carte qui propose de nombreuses options allant des eggs Benedict revisités, aux pancakes spéculoos, en passant par des mets comme le shakshuka et le manakeesh. We arrived at 12:30 & were seated promptly, I don't usually leave negative reviews & often assume it's just an off day, but after reading other reviews, it seems this is an ongoing issue.
To start, we sat for about 15 minutes without water or menus, & my husband had to go ask for them twice for menus After finally receiving them, we reviewed the menu & placed our order as soon as our server returned, concerned it might take a while for them to come back again. We ordered coffee, milk for our son, & an iced matcha latte. The coffee & milk arrived after about 10 minutes , but the matcha latte never came - no milk or cream for coffee so my husband drank it black. & we didn't mention it, not wanting to add to their workload.
The biggest issue was the wait for food. We waited approximately 1 hour & 30 minutes. Our son's pancakes arrived at 1:47, about 10-15 minutes before the rest of the meals. When our food finally came, it was barely warm. After such a long wait, we expected hot, fresh dishes.
We also noticed that other tables who arrived well after us were receiving their food before us. However, even then, their entire table wasn't served at the same time.. only 2 out of 6 people received their meals while the others continued waiting. This showed that the issue wasn't just delays, but overall disorganization in how food was being prepared & served.
I ordered the fried chicken Benedict with spicy hot sauce on the side, which was missing & had to be requested afterward. Based on the temperature & overall quality, I would rate it around 6/10-the hash browns were barely warm. My other son ordered the Tomato Jacket, which didn't resemble what was described on the menu & was very disappointing 2/10 It didn't look appetizing at all. I felt really bad for him. My husband had the steak & eggs, which he said was just okay, around a 6.5/10.
When our food arrived, we didn't even have utensils.
Overall, the service felt very disorganized. We had a different server each time someone came to our table, & no one seemed to be assigned specific sections. There was very little communication or follow-up throughout our visit, which made the experience more frustrating.
It seems like a management issue rather than just a busy day. Some suggestions that could improve the experience:
• Assign servers to specific sections for better accountability
• Have basic items like water, menus, & utensils ready for quick service
• Consider adding QR codes at tables as a backup for menus
• Ensure better coordination in the kitchen so food is served together & hot
• Hire & train staff who are engaged & attentive to customers
I really wanted to like this place, especially as a halal brunch option, & I genuinely hope they succeed. Based on other reviews, this appears to be an ongoing problem. I'm not looking for a response-just for these issues to be addressed & improved.
Such a great discovery. My husband & I were looking for a different brunch here in Montreal & we saw this new spot on TikTok & decided to give it a try. We loved this place, the service, the many menu options, the fact it's halal & that it's a big open space. The service with Zaynab was amazing & the food so delicious with great portions. We can't wait to bring our families & friends!!!

Heard about this place so much & gave it a try & it definitely did not disappoint! The food was delicious, the staff were kind & the portion sizes were good! The place is cute & the atmosphere is nicee! A plus since everything is halal! Definitely recommend for a brunch day!
Menu entièrement Halal, donc oubliez le déjeuner traditionnel avec bacon, jambon & saucisse. Le vilain porc n'est pas au menu !!! Sans compter le personnel désagréable qui est exaspéré lorsqu'on lui demande un changement.
Un vrai restaurant pour ceux qui aiment les accommodements !!!!
Halal non assumé. On s'est fait avoir. Lire le menu attentivement.'Saucisse a dejeuner' pas mangeable. J'ai detesté mon repas. 25$ pour manger des oeufs trop cuits & des patates avec 3 raisins. Beware. Je comprend pourquoi c'etait vide maintenant un dimanche matin a l'heure du brunch. Pu jamais.
While there's not too many halal brunch options in Montreal & they brought this restaurant which is completely halal. From the atmosphere to food,drinks, & staff , everything makes it feel like money is worth spending for.

Finally a Halal brunch spot. I will say the food is a 8/10 it doesnt 100% live up to toronto spot standards but it was good. the service is great & the food is served fast.
Took 35-45 mins before someone came to take our order after we were seated...thats also after I spoke to one of the waiters to send someone because we have been waiting for a while. ❌?
Ordered the shakshuka & eggstatic steak & eggs with a vanilla foam matcha latte. ✅?
The shakshuka wasn't good, more tangy than anything & the bread (pita) that was given with it was not fresh at all, it was actually like hard rock. Asked the waiter to have it replaced after showing him & he agreed.❌?
The eggstatic steak & eggs barely had steaks & the potatoes were overcooked & bland.❌?
As for the vanilla foam matcha latte, it had be redone twice & it was still not good & didn't have any foam at all. More diluted in ice....this was removed from our bill at the end.
I think people are just being super nice & not coming back or just deciding to keep quiet because theres not alot of halal brunch places or are just being fake with the rating.❌?
Overall, it wasn't a good experience for our group & we won't be returning.
