I don't usually leave a review, but I felt it necessary to share my experience for anyone who has allergies & is thinking to come here.
I was so excited to purchase their new'XL cookies' to bring to a dinner tonight. My husband is allergic to all nuts, & we are never able to get him anything fun! We came at 11 am, from the West Island.
These cookies are promoted as nut free, & the store instilled confidence on their website that although there is Nutella in the kitchen, these products are'kept in an isolated area' away from the other cookies.
When we arrived at the store, all the cookies were on the same tray, & touching!! When we asked if there were any in the back that were not contaminated, we were told there was not.
We then decided to purchase doughnats but wanted a mix of gluten free & the regular ones to form a box of 12. We were told that we were not allowed to do this, & had to buy a box of at least six of each …
All to say this experience was quite disappointing. We were also not thrilled with the service as the employee seemed more frustrated than helpful, & we felt we were being a hassle rather than a paying customer.
This was my fist visit to Doughnats. I loved it & I will certainly be back. I have celiac disease so I was thrilled to learn from a friend that this shop serves gluten free doughnuts. The doughnuts themselves are closer to mini cakes, but to be honest, I actually prefer their texture to that of most doughnuts I have had prior to my diagnosis. When I arrived, I had some questions for the staff regarding the way their GF doughnuts are made since even cross contamination in the oil could make me sick. They assured me that the GF doughnuts are actually baked, & that the kitchen is thoroughly cleaned before making a GF batch to ensure there is no cross contamination. I really liked how knowledgeable the staff was, & it lead to a sense of trust. The GF doughnuts themselves are SUPER DELICIOUS! They're also well dressed with high quality ingredients. The flavours are really appealing & have a good variety that are changed up every 6 months. & since they're smaller, you can try multiple varieties in a sitting. The only thing I would ask for is coffee. We were assured they're working on this, & I hope that there will be a coffee station next time I go. One last thing, you can tell these people are really proud of & love what they do. This place is very authentic & you should definitely check it out!
Box & donuts look amazing. Excellent to take as a gift. Not too crazy about the taste, nothing special about the dough, toppings are good. Kids must like them
These are really pretty donuts, I got a dozen for a lunch date. We each ate 1 one of these tiny donuts & did not want to try a second. So I brought them to work, were everyone commented on how fancy & lovely they looked, then ate one & pulled a face commenting on how lacklustre they were, the topping are grainy & overly sweet with not much other flavours & the donut itself is very bland. A few of the guys took a bite & tossed it.

Amazing, sweet little donuts with so many different & original flavors! I definitly recommend eating them on the day of, because they dry fast, & they're really delicious when they're fresh!
Love this place. We've been going & ordering for many years now, always delicious, creative, & so many options! The staff is super sweet. Love the packaging, I've offered many doughnats as gifts & always get great comments.
Perfection. I cannot believe how special these donuts are & they melt in your mouth. So fresh. Been here many times & the flavors keep getting better. The staff is amazing. Attentive & so helpful. Highly recommend!!!!
