Reservamos un evento para 30 personas y tomaron el pedido de medio grupo, algunos esperamos más de dos horas y la comida no llegó, había música el vivo pero el sonido era tan alto que no se podía hablar muchos se tuvieron que ir por que empezó a darnos dolor de cabeza, la comida no fue lo esperado pedí una chilena encebollada y la cebolla estaba casi cruda encima y sin sal al igual que los patacones.
I went to this Cuban restaurant last week & wow-10/10, they really nailed the authentic Cuban experience. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had been teleported straight to Havana: beautiful atmosphere, lively vibes… &, of course, the menu that's more of a suggestion list than an actual menu.
Our waitress came by & kindly informed us that only a few items were available. Perfect-that's exactly how you know it's Cuban! Then, after placing the order, she returned like a plot twist in a telenovela to announce that one dish should be canceled because the chef decided it wasn't worth the effort. Classic.
Naturally, I said I could wait-because what's more Cuban than waiting? Sure enough, after a cool 45 minutes (basically one salsa playlist later), the food arrived. & to be fair-it was amazing. Absolutely worth the'culinary patience training.'
So if you're looking for not just food but a full-on cultural immersion-random menu cuts, surprise cancellations, & the joy of waiting-this is the place. ¡Auténtico!

Gracias a toda la familia del restaurante Don Tamal ,un salón muy acogedor ,donde se respira la calidad de un buen servicio .Una experiencia única e inolvidable. Regresaremos pronto 🥰✍?

Mangé ici en famille durant notre séjour à Montréal, la nourriture était très bonne & bien apprêtée, nous avons aussi pu être servis en français. Les portions étaient généreuses & nous avons été informés adéquatement du contenu du repas.
Par contre comme il s'agit d'un endroit à saveur latino, la musique était présente & d'un volume plus élevé que la normale pour un restaurant. Comme il ne s'agit pas d'un restaurant familial en partant, cela peut se comprendre, mais cela nuit aux conversations.
Stationnement : sous la voie de service du boulevard Métropolitain.
Observations : beaucoup de fromage pour les pizzas, bonne bière & service rapide.
