Review Summary

Dev is described as a warm family run Indian restaurant offering authentic dishes made with fresh ingredients and consistently good flavors. Diners praise the balanced spice and masala, with standout items including butter chicken, biryani, vindaloo beef, lamb kebab, Amritsari kulcha, paneer pakora, and a tasty mango lassi, along with excellent naan. The service is repeatedly noted as friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, making it a reliable go to for repeat visits and recommendations to others. While the overall experience is praised as delicious and dependable, a few reviews mention occasional loud music and, in one case, a stale garlic naan, but these are rare and do not overshadow the consensus of quality and generous portions. Overall, Dev is described as one of the best Indian options in the area with generous portions, great value, and a strong family vibe that keeps people returning.

The food is extremely tasty. Myself & my colleague were nearby for work & we ate our lunch here for 3 days back to back, even though we had plenty of choices because of the tasty food they served us. The naan is one of the best I have had in Canada.

Last Monday , I ordered shahi paneer & 3 garlic naan. Paneer was ok but one of the garlic naan was not fresh , it was stale. They tried to sneak the stale naan in between two fresh naan lol , as if it will be unnoticed. Not so clever!!

One of the best butter chicken I've had in Montreal. Their garlic naan bread was also delicious. Service was fast. I highly recommend it.

My wife & I were looking for an indian cuisine & ended up going to Dev in Ile Perrot.

The rest is small with approx. 12-15 tables on the inside & about 10 outdoors on a small terrace facing the boulevard. They offer take out & dining in so that was a good bonus as we intent to order take out with them as we loved the food.

We ordered Butter chicken, Beef Biryani & basmati rice & they were all excellent. Of course the Naan was sinful.

The atmosphere has a nice Indian feel & warmth. Our waiter (cannot remember his name) was courteous & good with our 3 year old girl.

Cannot confirm if high chairs were available or if the bathroom has a changing station !!

All in all a good experience for the money you are spending. See online menu from their website for $$.
