Review Summary

Reviewers describe Dessert Café Momo as a cozy, charming little Korean style cafe with a small, intimate space that can feel busy and not very spacious at peak times. The menu earns praise for bingsu and desserts, including mango and strawberry bingsoo that are fresh, not too sweet, and generously portioned, along with cakes, macarons, tiramisu, and matcha specialties, though some macarons are criticized for being too small or the shell too crispy. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, with friendly staff and a sense of care, and sometimes a dog visits adding to the experience. Ordering is easy via an electronic kiosk, and the coffee and other drinks pair well with the pastries, with some remarks that the house drinks are well balanced and not overly sweet. A few reviews note that the place can get busy and space is limited, leading to occasional waits or the need to move along during peak times, but overall it remains a favorite for locals and visitors seeking a comforting dessert stop. Several patrons express the desire to return to try bingsoo again and highlight the pleasant neighborhood vibe and reliable quality across both drinks and sweets.

Their macarons used to be top notch. Recently, it's either too small or the shell is too crispy. Macarons should not be like that. Their cakes used to be good as well. I don't know what happened. glad the bingsoo still tastes the same. Oh well ☹?

The space is cozy without trying too hard, making it an easy place to slow down for a bit.

We started with the honey ginger lemon tea, which was warm & genuinely comforting, especially well balanced rather than overly sweet. The matcha cake was light & fluffy, with a clean matcha flavor that didn't overwhelm. We also tried the Injeolmi & mochi macaron & the chocolate macaron, both well made & satisfying, with textures that worked nicely together.

There's a sense of care in both the menu & the atmosphere. We'd love to come back to try their bingsoo next time & spend a little more time enjoying the space.

If you had a good experience, great! If not, the owner will harass & even doxx you for leaving anything but a positive review (maybe in a attempt to have the review removed?). Not the kind of business worth supporting.

As others have mentioned, the bingsoo tastes off/stinky but they'll insist that everything is fresh. The macarons are mid & hard as they're not thawed properly. The list goes on but just know that if any issues arise, it's never their fault. Honestly just horrible people running this place.

A super cute cafe with daily cake & macaron dessert options that are all vegetarian. The prices for coffee & cakes are reasonable & the portions are generous. The matcha cake paired very well with a Cortado & the strawberry cake had surprisingly fresh fruit. The coffee was strong but didn't taste bitter. There is banquette seating & tables that can accommodate 2-3 people. Everything was served with beautiful plating. The decor is super cute & cozy. The server was professional & friendly, despite seeming to be the only one working at the front at the time we were there. Will definitely return on a hot day to try out the injeolmi bingsoo!

I love this spot. The owners are amazing & always try their best. The strawberry shortcake is my girlfriend's favorite. So are the macarons. Honestly, if you have the money I strongly suggest supporting this small business. Truly topnotch. While I give everything a 5 star, I do have to give it a 4 overall since the price has sharply risen over the past two (maybe three) years. I believe we used to pay around 35$ for a small cake while now it has gone up to 50-60$.

The place is small & homey & the ambiance was so nice as the decorations & music are aesthetic! The macarons were to die for I personally had ordered 2 at first the strawberry & the crème brûlée that pushed me to order another 4 to go !

My favourite macarons anywhere. When in Paris I compared all the macarons to Momo's & none were as good. This is my favourite gift to give & receive.

Their Americano boasts a delightful blend of floral notes & great acidity, while their irresistible macarons have converted me, a non-sweet enthusiast. The friendly staff & owner contribute to a positive atmosphere, making it a definite recommendation for a mood-boosting weekend.

I’m obsessed with this dessert cafe! Everyone is so kind & the atmosphere is perfect. My favourite is the Strawberry Bingsoo with Oreo crunch & extra mochi. Definitely recommend trying that combo. As well, the macarons are heavenly✨

This place is my favourite korean dessert place to-go. I am Korean myself, but the things I eat here reminds me of when I was living in Korea. The cakes are so freaking delicious, they have matcha, sweet potatoe, strawberry, blueberry, oreo cakes & so on. If you go there, they sell their cakes by pieces, if you want to order the whole cake, you will have to preorder 2 days in advance

You should definitely try their macarons & their korean shaved-ice dessert with all kinds of toppings. Must-try guys

On their IG they show some pictures of their cake & macarons artwork & yes. they have a dog named Momo, they called their cafe by his name he is adorable!

Been coming here for years & I was never disappointed! Favorite brownie bingsoo in town (also the only place who has it 😂)

But recently started to take a liking to their macarons as well 👀 i don’t know how but they’re soft & crunchy at the same time, not too sweet, just perfect .3714765246632E+24;

It’s true that they don’t take credit cards so just prepare cash or use debit card (it’s not that hard 🤨)

10/10 would recommend
