Avis pour DelMonaco
I stopped at Del monaco this morning in Kirkland to buy pizza dough. I also was going to get natas as they are delicious. I got there at 9 am when they opened, because it was convenient for me right after doing my groceries. I saw they had no pizza dough in the counter so just asked politely: sorry do you have pizza dough? The answer was, in a very rude & annoyed tone: Lady I literally just opened the door!! I was shocked but still said: maybe you have some in the back? No I have to make it I just opened the store! He was almost screaming at me. I got out of there with a knot in my stomach & went to buy it at Cavallaro.
You don't have pizza dough from the day before? Fine. You need to make new one? Fine. I understand that. It's not a crazy idea to think you might have some in the fridge behind?? A normal answer would be: sorry I don't have any this morning, I have to make fresh one. To which I would have replied: no problem. & then you smile ?
Instead, I got out of there confused as to why someone would be so rude to me. I always ask with a smile. I'm a soft spoken person. & to be clear, I am not complaining that they did not have the product. I am complainingabout the rudeness.
Well I will never go back there. I never want to feel this yucky feeling of being spoken to like that. It's a shame as they have great products. I saw the natas on my way out but had no desire to buy anything, as I did not want to spend one more minute with that frustrated rude man.
Best place for pizza dough & sauce in the west, all the prepped meals are fantastic too.
I really like the products & the store. However'shrinkflation' has set in, what used to be a 1kg bag of pizza dough, is now 900g. We used to make 4 250g pizzas, now it's 225g each or 3 250g ones with dough left over, while it certainly helps the diet not to have as much, I think most people understand inflation, rising costs etc... I, & I would guess many others, would rather pay the extra & get the 1kg bag back.
I've been buying my pizza at Delmonaco's for years but the last 2 times I bought this month the bottom crust has been soggy. Very disappointing that I have to come home & cook it again. Thank got I didn't just bring it like that my my party
Delicious italian food. Love their tomato pizza meatball subs with spicy peppers, eggplant, & the parmesan chicken. Also their spicy olives & a variety of authentic pasta sauces, as well as frozen foods everything is tasty. This place needs more recognition. Unfortunately no place to sit but great place to grab food on the go with amazing friendly staff. See you on Wednesday!
Man was very friendly, cookies were very good. Pizza slices are huge. Worth checking out
Great place to pick up a fresh meal to go or some even better, a lasagna. Want to make pizza at home, grab a dough ball, & make it how you like it!
Reliable excellent quality, attentive service, & rich variety of Italian foods, pastas, sauces, etc. We've been buying the flat pizza here for years.
