A restaurant from a different era, frozen at its prime. Good food in large portions for reasonable prices. Bright colorful decorations that make you forget about winter. Great service that's always there when you need them. Everything a family restaurant should be.
This 24 hour place has the feel of a restaurant another era because of its comfortable booth seating & it's funky decor which includes Florida motifs like sharks hanging from the ceiling. It also has beautifully exotic fish tanks. I've eaten there many times for breakfast, lunch & supper. The very reasonably priced food is good & the portions are plentiful. On weekends it can be quite crowded but the service is still quite prompt. A small detail that I really like when I'm eating breakfast there is that they leave a pot of coffee on the table so that you don't have to beckon a waiter or waitress for refills. All in all, I don't think they're there is anything to be critical about this eating experience.
Ce restaurant ouvert 24h/24 a un charme d'antan grâce à ses banquettes confortables & à sa décoration originale, avec des motifs floridiens comme des requins suspendus au plafond. On y trouve également de magnifiques aquariums à poissons exotiques. J'y ai mangé de nombreuses fois, pour le petit-déjeuner, le déjeuner & le dîner. La nourriture, à un prix très raisonnable, est bonne & les portions généreuses. Le week-end, il peut y avoir beaucoup de monde, mais le service reste rapide. Un petit détail que j'apprécie particulièrement au petit-déjeuner : la cafetière est toujours prête sur la table, inutile d'appeler un serveur pour se resservir. En résumé, je n'ai rien à redire sur cette expérience culinaire.

Tout ce que l'on peut s'attendre d'un'diner' montréalais. J'ai pris une salade au London Steak. C'était une vraiment délicieuse assiette. La viande était délicieuse & juteuse. La service courtois & chaleureux. Le point le plus important à mentionné est : la décoration. Un style diner kitch mixé avec un look South-Beach. En toute honnêteté, 5 étoiles pour l'ambiance c'est faible. La déco a elle seule vole le show. Le bouffe pourrait être nul & l'expérience en demeurait extraordinaire.
Went during lunch time on a weekday & the place was packed. Had to wait for parking to be available on their lot.
Had 2 chocolate chip pancakes & coffee & it came out to about 15$ with taxes & tip. Very cheap prices!

Découvrir cette institution est une expérience en soi. Le décor kitsch assumé est fantastique. Si tu n'as pas le budget comme un snowbird pour aller en Floride à chaque hiver, va faire un tour au Miami Déli. Plus sérieusement par contre, il aurait été bien d'avoir du vrai sirop d'érable & non du sirop de poteau pour le brunch (c'est presque un péché au Québec...)
Besides the decor, that it's open 24/7, & that this area is a food dessert, there is absolutely no culinary reason to go to Miami Deli. It's also crazy expensive for the quality, they totally take advantage of the fact that you're hungry & nothing else is open.
La bouffe n'est pas à tout cassé & les prix sont un peu élevés, mais l'endroit est spécial avec son décor weird & authentique. En plus, en dehors des chaînes de fast food, les restaurants 24h sont très rares aujourd'hui & ça, ça lui ajoute une valeur certaine! Un endroit un peu mythique qui me ramène dans le temps.
J'ai bien aimé se restaurant !! Potine italienne, lasagne, sont excellente. J'ai adoré le décor style exotique ! J'ai rencontré des serveuses très gentille & professionnel. Mais aujourd'hui le 9 juin j'y suis aller. Le midi & le service était à désiré . La serveuse

We had a solid experience at the Miami Deli. The smoked meat platter was enough for two, with a huge portion of fries. The real draw here is the exaggerated interior decor, being Florida & ocean-themed.
L'expérience était hallucinante!! C'était tellement bon que je n'ai pas eu le temps, le désir ou la force de prendre une photo avant d'avoir englouti l'intégralité de mon repas. Je recommande fortement cet endroit. Entouré de requins décoratifs & de chefs de renommée, je n'ai pu m'empêcher d'exclamer ma joie à l'aide d'un aboiement divin venu du coeur. Comme le dirait Jean-Paul Sarte, l'essayer c'est l'adopter calisse!

Stumbled upon this place for brunch; the decor is quite unique however, it could use a revamp, you feel trapped in the 90s.
Regarding the food, the portions are huge but nothing special.

Located just uphill from Mutoide Microbrewery (check them out if you haven't already!) & a few steps up the hill from Préfontaine Metro, Miami Deli is the perfect stop for comfort food fans & night owls alike. This place captures the essence of an old-school Montreal deli-quirky decor, welcoming people, & food that hits the spot every time. Whether it's for a big breakfast or a late-night indulgence, Miami Deli is the kind of spot that keeps you coming back.
We honestly stumbled upon this place by accident. Having finished the light show in the jardin botanique, we drove around for a restaurant opening late, & Lo & behold, Miami Deli emerged all bright & shiny! Open 24h!!!!! At 22:30, it was still packed! It's a huge place too with a gigantic menu serving literally everything from pizza to Greek souvlaki to Chinese food! & their breakfast menu is simply divine. We had their classic poutine, chicken souvlaki, a club sandwich & calamari. Even the black coffee is great, no refills though. 🙃 The waitress was an elderly lady with friendly & super sweet! Reminds me of those cynically delicious career waitresses from the western diners in the dessert. While our French was not strong enough to make quips, we appreciated her enthusiasm & smiles. The decor is a landmark of its own!!! Very colourful & whimsical. Anyway, whether craving for breakfast, brunch, or late night snack, Miami Deli is your best bet!
Déjeuner tard... Genre 15pm. Une assiette la grillade spéciale, pour ceux comme moi qui n'aime pas les oeufs. & un décor très Miami vibes... Toujours servi avec un sourire.
