I've been coming here regularly with my friend, & this place never disappoints. The food is always fresh, delicious, & consistent. The mango lassi is honestly one of my favorites-it's the perfect drink to go with the meal.
A big shoutout to Arjun, the owner, who is always friendly & welcoming. He treats customers like family & makes the whole experience even better. This has become our go-to spot whenever we're craving good Indian food. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I'm a wedding planner & I had the pleasure of working with Arjun & his team who provided catering for a wedding event. Arjun was responsive accommodating & very easy to work with leading up to & on the day of the event. His kitchen & waitstaff team were excellent. The food was fresh & delicious! I highly recommend Dawat for any & all catering needs!
We recently ordered from Dawat for the first time & thoroughly enjoyed our food: palak paneer, Baingan Bharta, & naan. The two dishes were delicious, & the naan was soft & had that fresh from the tandoor taste. I haven't tasted naan this good since a favourite restaurant of mine, where they made it in the tandoor in front of the customer, closed down. We also appreciated that the food was packaged to avoid leaks & to keep the naan warm & soft. The price was also lower than other places we usually order from. We will definitely be ordering from Dawat again.

This is one of my favorite places to get food. I eat here once or twice a week, & it's always so good. The naan is freshly made & tender. The samosas are large & delicious, with abundant sauce on the side. The chicken has great flavor.
I've ordered takeout from here twice now & it's been fantastic both times. The food is always fresh, very flavorful, & you can tell the kitchen really knows what they're doing. Everything tastes authentic & well made.
I'm especially happy to have such a great Indian spot in the West Island-it's so nice to have something this good close to home.
My only small wish is that the meals automatically came with rice or naan when ordering. Aside from that, everything has been excellent & I'll definitely keep coming back!
Amazing Indian restaurant! The food was full of flavour - especially the butter chicken & fresh naan. Service was friendly & fast, & the staff gave great recommendations. The atmosphere was warm & cozy, perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend!
