Check your bills before you leave
We realize & more than one time
They add things on the bills that we did not order , & most of the Lebanese as a respect & trust they don't look at the bills they pay & leave , from now on , look at your receipts before you leave , ask for it don't be shy it's your right to be a Canadian Lebanese & ask for your receipts & check what you are paying for , specially if you are a group & you order to many things I know it's hard to count but do it , I love the place & it's the best Lebanese food but it's not nice when they charge for something you didn't order plus it's about time to do some renovations the place is sooooo old even the carpet some places are sticky I lower it to one star because of the extra charge specially when it happens more than two time that's mean it was not an error
Amazing Lebanese food , so good service so yummy so healthy , you will love each bite of the food & you must try the Lebanese coffee oh my lord how tasty it is , what you are waiting for , go try it enjoy it you will love it .
This Restaurants has been around for decades, & it because the food is made with care. This is homestyle Lebanese cuisine, most dishes are served family style. Its our go to place for family dinners & with friends. Recommed the Fattoush salad, hummus & babaganoush, the warm vine leaves filled with meat & rice, & a mixed plate of chicken & filet mignon cubes, with Fries ( to die for) & some rice. If you have room for dessert, you didnt order enough 🤣 its clean healthy food with so much flavour, made fresh to order.
Daou is a very reliable Lebanese food option in Montreal. Nice selection of the standards & of the raw meat options. Always a good experience .
Excellent Lebanese restaurant. We go many times! Great service, great food!
I have been recommended to try this place long time ago . We went on a slow day which was good for us. Thr food is typically lebanese , old school. I ordered a lot of appetizer, most of them were great. The fatoush however could be enhanced & was salty, it lacks too many items if I am comparing to thr remaining app. The Main dish had chicken( excellent ) , kafta ( don't try it ) & meat ( ok, but could be better). I found it too expensive for what I was getting. We ordered app & one main dish with 2 soft drink & a beer. The service was good & friendly. The only downside of this place is it is tooooo old, urgently need à to be revamped, but I guess people likes it that way. I always compare resto with the one from dubai & believe the difference is crazy.
This is an old school & traditional family run restaurant. No glitz no glam, simple & straight forward. We ordered traditional hummus, which was super smooth & tasty. Fattouch & tabouleh which were fresh & well seasoned. We also got the coriander potatoes which were drowning in lemon juice along with shish kebab, kafta, lamb & salmon. The meats & fish were all cooked perfectly. We did find that everything was salty & overall all had a very citrusy taste which isn't necessarily bad but lacked diversity. The waiters are friendly & quick & we left feeling quite full as the portions are very generous. The other customers were all Lebanese so i think this is definitely a favourite for some.
I'm Lebanese, & this place seriously beats every Lebanese restaurant I've been to for a very long time
Daou offers top of the line Lebanese food. You can’t go wrong, the whole menu is delicious. Their meat melts in you mouth like a butter cookie (pause).
When there’s private parties the parking gets pretty full, so just park next door in the strip mall; next to Tim Hortons.
