Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, not only in flavor but in visual appeal. The fresh ingredients shone in every bite, blending traditional Italian flavors with modern techniques that left us in awe. From antipasti to dolce, the menu reflected a perfect balance of authenticity & innovation. The service was impeccable & truly made the evening special. The staff treated us as though we were family, attending to every detail with genuine warmth & care. Whether it was their expert recommendations or the personal touches they added throughout the meal, we felt valued & welcomed in a way that is rare. The bar & lounge offered a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, perfect for starting or concluding the night with a cocktail or glass of fine wine. It was the perfect complement to the dining experience, adding to the restaurant's overall charm. This restaurant was everything a restaurant should be. The staff & owner (Lav) friendly, welcoming (with everyone who walked in) the restaurant has been around for a long time & Lav is ready to share stories upon your asking (which I did). The food was well presented & tasted every bit as good as it looked. We appreciated the look & the taste so much - totally forgot pics. What put this restaurant over the top was when I couldn't decide between 2 desserts so they gave me both & one being compliments of the house. The vibe in the place says family & anyone who walks in is a part of it. I can't recommend enough & is now on my must visit when in Montreal.
My husband & I dined here for our anniversary as family gifted us with gift cards. It is a quaint little restaurant in the heart of downtown. The food was very tasty, the presentation was very pretty, the portions were good, the service was fast & efficient (although the attention we received was overkill - the waiter, although very kind, checked in on us literally every 5 minutes) We were disappointed with the risotto as we expected a thicker consistency, but it was too'soupy' in our humble opinion. The resto serves the cutest complimentary appetizer (first picture- we were 2 so there were 2 of each item). I do recommend if you don't mind spending $$ as the food is excellent, however, the prices are over what I am willing to spend for dining out & so would not return (A bottle of Perrier is $12, my 3 shrimp appetizer is $48, etc)
OK so having Italian roots I don't normally go to Italian places because I'm always disappointed in the food & I always think homemade is better but this place is out of this world! Is it pricey?Quite a bit , yes but the vibe is immaculate. The overall charm of this place is Simply splendid the owner of the place is super nice & Vincenzo has my heart, always gives me the best service ever. The food itself is simply amazing. The lamb chops are juicy, & the grilled octopus is simply to die for, I tried many of their dish , & they are all simply amazing, especially their lobster risotto & the ragu di agnello! Overall 20/ 10🤩

Food is decent. I wouldn't say wow or bad, it's decent but not worth the price in my opinion. Service is okay, often forgot what we asked for & billing was huge errors. Atmosphere is nice.
I have to say I wanted to try this place for a longtime. I have to say I was quite disappointed from arrival to departure From Valet service upon arrival not present The menu is ok but very pricey for what you get. I feel this restaurant has got stuck in the early 2000's & hasn't evolved Plan for 100$+ / head & a 30$ Valet To top it all off had to wait for the valet employee to finish praying to get our car ....

Have had the pleasure of dining at Da Vinci's in an intimate, small group & large group settings. All were fun, felt well taken care of & great suggestions on food & wine were appreciated. The owners Vince & Lavi are not only great people, they make you feel welcomed are very appreciative of the business. Highly recommend when in Montreal!
This restaurant offers excellent food & inviting ambiance. The staff is friendly & attentive, contributing to a warm atmosphere. The convenience of professional valet parking adds a touch of ease, making it an ideal choice for those looking for a hassle-free outing.
The prices were pretty high for the quality of the food. The squid wasn't cooked properly, & spending $300 for two appetizers & two main courses without any wine seemed a bit much.
La déception était palpable dès l'entrée, avec une portion de crevettes "à la da Vinci", dans une sauce cocktail ordinaire... Les pâtes au homard & safran manquaient de saveur & de générosité, tandis que les pâtes aux fruits de mer, le homard semblaient avoir subi un traitement au micro-ondes le rendant trop cuit. Pour un établissement de renom, l'expérience culinaire était bien en deçà des attentes. Même à un prix réduit, il aurait été difficile d'être impressionné par cette prestation. Le service impeccable est un point positif, mais quand il s'agit de séduire nos papilles, l'expérience culinaire laisse vraiment à désirer. Il est regrettable que même un service exceptionnel ne puisse compenser les lacunes dans la qualité des plats. Bien que les plats principaux aient déçu, il est rassurant de savoir que les desserts ont été un point fort de l'expérience culinaire.

Da Vinci offers an outstanding dining experience with an atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The service is amazing-warm, attentive, & truly makes you feel valued as a guest. I had the lobster risotto, & it was absolutely delicious, with rich, savoury flavours that were perfectly balanced. Highly recommend Da Vinci for anyone seeking a cozy, inviting place with top-notch food & service!
Très mauvaise expérience. On nous a fait comprendre dès le départ qu'il fallait libérer la table dès que possible avec un rappel tout au long de la soirée.
This is a amazing place with great ambiance which makes me go back again again . I would recommend this restaurant to anyone in a heart beat who is looking to enjoy great food . Not only the quality of the food , the hospitality is above & beyond. I give this restaurant a 5 start rating all the way!!!
I have been going to Da Vinci for many years but only recently returned for the fist time since the beginning of the pandemic. Still an excellent restaurant & to me the top Italian restaurant in Montreal.
