Located in a beautiful Victorian dwelling in the heart of Montreal, Ristorante Da Vinci offers its guests elegant and warm surroundings.
From its magnificent mahogany staircase to its high ceilings and natural fireplaces and its private salon to its appetizing antipasto and dessert display, Da Vinci will rejoice both your eyes and your palate.
To compliment your meal, an extensive list of wines from 20 regions of Italy is offered. Before turning to dessert, walnuts are offered to accompany the wine. Then it's time for some classic Italian sweets or a few novelties such as the duo of iced mousse, dark chocolate and amaretto !

Nevermind the food which was excellent. But an employee named Anton went above & beyond. I'll save you all the story but mark my words more Antons are needed in this world.

This was such an amazing expierience, not only was the staff & food amazing but we got the chance to really get to know the owner during our meal, he & everyone else made you feel so welcome, & the food was just, amazing. I was so worried about going to such a upscale place & not fitting in, & it turned out to be a place that made me feel right at home. I would suggest this place to anyone .

Ristorante Da Vinci offre une expérience culinaire délicieuse dans un cadre absolument magnifique. La nourriture est savoureuse & bien présentée-vraiment une belle découverte pour les amateurs de bonne cuisine italienne. Cela dit, petit détail à noter : la télé ne fonctionne pas. Donc si vous espérez suivre le match des Canadiens pendant votre repas, il vaut mieux prévoir un plan B. Malgré ça, l'ambiance reste charmante & le service est excellent. Parfait pour une soirée entre amis ou un dîner romantique!

Walked by this restaurant on a trip to get a poutine. Went inside to make reservations & boy was I glad I did. Could not have been a better dining experience. Staff , food & drink all top notch.

We had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant DaVinci, & it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for an unforgettable evening. The modern yet elegant decor, combined with soft lighting & comfortable seating, created an intimate setting that was perfect for celebrating an occasion. The service was impeccable, & the food was amazing. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply looking for a place to enjoy great food, this spot delivers on all fronts. Artful presentation & melodious flavor combinations. Well appointed table settings with attentive staff. A wonderful dining experience. The burrata was creamy & the Alaskan raviolis were scrumptious.

Ate there on Nov 2, 2024 for my girlfriend's birthday. The ambiance was so boring. Had to tell the waiter put some Italian music on, as I couldn't hear it. Which he did. The decor for a high-end resto, was also boring. I looked at boring whitish wall papered walls all evening. Ordered the burrata which was good as entree. We both ordered the pasta, mine (lamb pasta at $39) was salty & lacked flavours, no wow factor what so ever. Hers was better, veal rague pasta at $39 too. Service was good, but waiter forgot to bring us bread. Cheapest wine was 75$ a bottle, which was decent tasting. I told them it was my girlfriend's birthday (when making reservations & when I got there), I heard crickets while others had happy birthday sung to them. Not even a complimentary desserts for her, after dropping $240. Overpriced & really not worth it. Never again.

The refined décor & warm lighting immediately set the stage for what was to come-a culinary journey that exceeded all expectations. The creative presentations were nothing short of art. Each dish was thoughtfully crafted, not only in flavor but in visual appeal. The fresh ingredients shone in every bite, blending traditional Italian flavors with modern techniques that left us in awe. From antipasti to dolce, the menu reflected a perfect balance of authenticity & innovation. The service was impeccable & truly made the evening special. The staff treated us as though we were family, attending to every detail with genuine warmth & care. This restaurant was everything a restaurant should be. The staff & owner (Lav) friendly, welcoming (with everyone who walked in) the restaurant has been around for a long time & Lav is ready to share stories upon your asking (which I did). The food was well presented & tasted every bit as good as it looked. We appreciated the look & the taste so much - totally forgot pics. What put this restaurant over the top was when I couldn't decide between 2 desserts so they gave me both & one being compliments of the house. The vibe in the place says family & anyone who walks in is a part of it. I can't recommend enough & is now on my must visit when in Montreal.
