For vegan ice cream, it is quite good. We got the chocolate & Matcha swirl - & while the coconut base is great, it felt like it could've used just a bit more flavour.

Amazing ice cream - soft serve style. Great for lactose intolerant folks because there's no dairy! Flavours change weekly so it's like going for the first time every time (sometimes flavours do come back) My favourite is getting a combo...so good!

SWIRL is one of those places that proves great ice cream doesn't need a huge menu. The owners' Filipino heritage shines through in the flavour inspiration - expect creative combinations that feel familiar if you grew up with Asian desserts in a filipino style, yet are exciting even if it's your first time trying them. The rotating seasonal flavours keep every visit interesting, & the coconut-based soft serve is unbelievably smooth & creamy.

Price-wise, it's a little higher than a typical neighbourhood soft-serve stand, but you're paying for quality ingredients, unique flavour development, & a handcrafted product rather than a standard cone. Compared with other specialty ice cream shops nearby, it still feels fair & worth it. I was so happy when I saw a filipino word'salamat' when I'm making the payment. If you're looking for something beyond the usual vanilla & chocolate, SWIRL is absolutely worth the stop..

It's very small, but fully vegan !! They only have 6 soft serve options, but they are all very nice flavours. I had the hojicha ice cream & WOW sooooo good 🤩 tested exactly like that ; green tea with a hint of nuts. Loved it, would go back anytime.

Delicious organic coconut milk based + fruit soft serve ice cream, year after year.

Tried the four flavours currently being offered: Madagascar Vanilla, Quebec strawberry, Chocolate & Matcha. All the flavors were really good, but my favorite was the Vanilla & Strawberry swirl. Vanilla had a mild coconut flavor & strawberry tasted like real fresh strawberries.

The service was super kind & friendly.

Came across this gem on a friday night, came back the following day to try their Genmaicha + Chocolate Swirl Ice Cream & it was a hit! They do change their menu every week & last day to try that week's flavour is Sunday (if i recall)

They're ok… nothing exceptional. Very pricey $8.20 for 1 ice cream is quite expensive & the flavour wasn't exceptional.

Swirl stands out amidst a bustling Montreal ice cream scene. The flavours are out-of-this-world & if there is a line up, it moves quickly. Although it's a little expensive (given the quantity), it's very appreciated that they don't prompt you for an 18% tip on top of the price. Very much worth a visit (if not a weekly visit)!
