Cute little coffee place for a quick start. We've tried different coffee drinks a hot chocolate & some pastries.
All very good made with passion & served with a smile.
The small outdoor seating was perfect for us as we could enjoy the sunny but cold weather.
Community, coffee, & comfort. Côte Café is such a lovely oasis in the heart of the city, building a real community with its laidback atmosphere, popping aesthetic, considerate barristas & of course, its fabulous drinks. A not so hidden gem :) Thank-you Côte!
i really really love this coffee shop 🫶 amazing pastries & sandwiches (the chicken buffalo one was top tier). they have seasonal holiday drinks, which i love to see!! honestly the vibe is so cozy & welcoming, warm atmosphere, great decor… montreal's best coffee shop
I ordered a maple latte & asked if they had any smoothies. He offered to make me one although it wasn't on the menu. Both drinks were delicious!!! I got the smoothie for my husband but had to stop myself from chugging it😂😅
Such a great small café! The workers really make you feel welcomed & the drink I got (cold Montreal fog) was excellent. Hope to visit again sometime ❤?

Great vibe! The people who work there are super friendly. On the pricier side but worth it for the quality. Depending on when you get there, might be a long line.
All if not most of their hot drinks can be changed to ice.
Great location; nice stop before I head home. They are also dog friendly so that's great as well!
an absolute gem, opens early, & it's conveniently located near guy-concordia area.
we found this place after needing a cafe that opened early morning on a saturday & we were blown away by the quality of their brews. most notable was the salted peanut butter latte, what a drink.
their pastries are also of high quality & flavour, if you're serious about your coffee, give them a try. will be coming back!
The drinks here are EXCELLENT. Both the coffee & matcha were a 5 star. However the food was a little disappointing! The breakfast sandwhich was premade & contained pickles which was not advertised on the menu, the wraps were also served cold in the middle which made the pre cooked scrambled egg unappetizing, they were also dry! I'm not one to often post reviews but my experience here was really not the best.
The drinks are an absolute 5 stars & would do again.
If you're looking for breakfast I wouldn't reccomend

Absolutely divine. We discovered this on our first trip to Montreal walking our dog early in the morning. They were one of the only places near Mt Royal open around 7am, & oh my goodness we got so lucky. The espresso & drinks were best of the best, as were the baked goods & service. Also lovely dog friendly seating right outside the cafe.
We ended up going here every morning of our trip, & it truly captured the essence of what we were hoping to experience in Montreal. When we return we are making sure our air bnb or hotel is walking distance from Côte Cafe!
It's quite a walk up the hill. It's super hot inside, the worker said they just got a single AC this year & had to work in the heat before. The AC they have is not enough, everyone coming in was sweating & hot. The matcha was not great, tasted like milk with vanilla. I did ask for a vanilla shot but it tasted nothing like matcha. I walked 20 minutes to come here because of the rating but was super disappointed. Maybe other drinks are good. The service was good though!
What a gem! This café is super small but big enough to warm your appetite & coffee needs! First, I gotta say, the barista was super nice! Very friendly, conversational & always smiling. Very helpful to give recommendations as well. My friend & I went on a Sunday afternoon, & we ordered a latte, the Rose Mocha & a grilled cheese spinach & feta danish! It was all delicious we had to order another danish to go.
I would just hope they bring back the Salted Peanut Butter latte, it was the best drink I've ever tried!
My experience was more than amazing. The drinks are great, pastries are delicious & an amazing staff, Charles deserves a raise or a second cafe🫡 Came looking to ask a few questions for a project, Charles took time to explain every single aspect of the coffee industry to help me out. From sourcing, how to store my beans, roasting , types of coffee, the different roasts, how to make an espresso shot ...etc Not just very friendly but he is very passionate & highly knowledged about his work & has an amazing soul. I Even got some free samples An amazing business & somewhere I would be 100 confident possibly even investing in.
