We went to Cora for the 12$ breakfast special on a Saturday. Haven't been here in years. The restaurant was quite empty & the decor was outdated. The waiter was very friendly & kept checking in on us. The food was better than I was expecting. I had the western omelette, multigrain bread with some early grey tea. For the price & the service I highly recommend!
Cora going too pricey for what it offers !!!! No wonder not much peoples going ....BUT IT IS way lower than THE GREEDY breakfast chain'ALLO MON COCO' !!!!

Cora in LaSalle is amazing! I can get a gluten free breakfast & they are very careful with my plate! The best part of this place is the staff!! I have not met one that wasn't awesome! Shoutout to Thomas! He always greets me with a smile & a friendly hello. He even remembers my name!! It is now the only place I have breakfast
Despite confirming the day before that reservations were now accepted, there seemed to be confusion upon our arrival, & we were initially told there were no available tables. Eventually, we were seated (just as we were about to leave to go elsewhere), but the service left much to be desired. We had to request basic table setup (napkins & cutlery weren't there even after our order was taken) & follow up on my coffee & our food multiple times. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive & was disappointingly bland. Additionally, we noticed customers waiting despite two to three seemingly vacant tables. It appears there's a lack of training among the staff, which may stem from the Cora operations team from within. If staffing is an issue, it would be more considerate to either reduce the number of customers or begin accepting reservations. As the founder of Cora is a senior citizen herself, one would expect an understanding of the challenges elderly individuals face, such as standing in line for nearly an hour to be seated. Furthermore, reducing the number of menu items could allow the cooking staff to focus on doing a few things well. We will not be coming back to Cora nor to any other breakfast franchises anymore as these kinds of service issues seems to be systemic & there is lack fo accountability/ownership in these franchises. We used to really enjoy coming to Cora (pre-pandemic). Does anyone have any good stories of actual franchises doing BETTER after the pandemic?
This was always one of my favorite breakfast restaurants. I love the numerous menu items serving fresh fruit. However, myself & my group of six were disappointed by the very noticeable reduced portion sizes. A sign of economic strains, so many restaurants are sadly enduring at this time. 😢 Service was courteous, venue has remained unchanged over years, which is fine. Value just isn't there anymore due to extremely small portions.

Bacon was paper thin & the potatoes were not good at all , the breakfast sausage tasted a bit weird in my opinion but the service was excellent the waiters were very nice
Very kind staff & the waitress Melody who went above & beyond the entire breakfast had a great big smile which added some sunlight to a rainy fall day. The eggs, bologna & potatoes were cooked to perfection. They had no rye bread left so offered me multigrain which was a perfect replacement. My daughters waffle was cooked perfectly & the fruits were numerous & varied. The Halloween decorations were very creative & added a kitschy charm to the atmosphere. I would highly recommend this Chez Cora!
Good place for a breakfast, very tasty, I took benidictine with 3 eggs & extra sausages, I liked everything, the service is very good, the coffee is exellent as well. Thank you so much for such a great experience, definetely will come back to try some other dishes
