About

COQCOR specializes in authentic Korean BBQ and signature crispy chicken wings within a modern, minimalist dining environment. Diners encounter a focused menu where high-quality proteins are prepared using traditional grilling techniques alongside a variety of fermented side dishes. The kitchen emphasizes the bold interplay of sweet, spicy, and savory flavor profiles characteristic of Korean street food culture. Patrons utilize tabletop grilling stations to control the searing process of marinated meats, ensuring each bite meets personal preferences for texture and char. This establishment prioritizes culinary precision by sourcing fresh ingredients that highlight the distinct heat and acidity of house-made sauces. The atmosphere remains centered on the interactive nature of communal grilling, fostering a direct connection between the preparation of the raw ingredients and the final consumption of perfectly cooked delicacies.

The tteokbokki & fried chicken were really good! The chicken was light & crispy, with a tender & juicy texture. We ordered the half spicy, half soy garlic. Both were perfectly sweet, but not overly so. The order of chicken came with pickled radish & coleslaw. Really appreciate the vinegary coleslaw with the chicken. The tteokbokki was nicely spicy, with onions, carrots, fish cake & hard boiled egg. We added mozzarella cheese, which added a nice creamy contrast to the spicy tteokbokki. The service was very nice & friendly, & I think the price is fair for the portion & quality. Definitely recommend & will be coming back!!

Loveee the fried chicken Food: • Spicy Pork Bibimbap: spicy but really good spicy, it had the perfect balance of different veggies & pork. The pork was well marinated & very tasty. • Half half fried chicken: surprisingly good, very crispy. I like the spicy one more than the original, but both of them was great. SERVICE: there's only 1 lady there taking care of all the tables, she's lovely & very friendly. VIBE: the place located in a quite hidden area downstairs, doesn't have many customers come in. Large space with many empty tables, I wish people know more about this place.

Was craving fried chicken & decided to try out a new place for lunch. The place is close to Guy-Concordia station so it is easy to get to. We were greeted & they let me & my friends sit wherever we liked. The waitress then gave us the menu & let us choose between cold water & hot tea. We had a little bit of a misunderstanding because we thought hot water was an option haha. The waitress was very patient & polite though so everything went well. She then explained that there's a button at the table you can press to notify the waitress when we needed anything. For 4 people, we ordered 1 whole fried chicken plate & a half plate of sweet & hot chicken (if that's what it's called). 18 pieces is a good amount for 4 people, though slightly more would've been better :). The fried chicken though, out of all the places, was probably the best I've eaten so far! The chicken is really tender with a not too crispy & thin outer layer. The spice level was very handleable which gave the feeling of spiciness without sacrificing taste. The chicken also came with sauce for the original flavour & a tiny amount of coleslaw. We also each had a big plastic glove to use so that we don't get our hands dirty. To pay, the lady at the front was very very enthusiastic & was very willing to help us separate our bill as needed. The price is pretty much the same as other places. Overall, great service, amazing fried chicken, definitely a place to eat at again.
