Really fresh fish with great flavor combinations. The staff is also wonderful & kind.

Je suis complètement fan de Yatta ! Leurs sushis sont tout simplement délicieux : ultra frais, toujours bien présentés & préparés avec une efficacité remarquable. On sent tout de suite la qualité des ingrédients & le soin apporté à chaque commande. C'est devenu mon adresse incontournable à ne pas manquer quand je suis au travail!
One of the best sushi in Montreal. The price is fair & they use high quality ingredient. Also they use real crab meat not like others place who claim crab meat roll but it's actually just fake crab meat.
They made really fresh vegetarian sushi but recently put a disclaimer on their menu no vegetarian options. I think that is a business mistake. Sad to see, I have to find a new regular spot now.
Je vais au comptoir Yatta depuis leurs débuts, presque à chaque semaine; tout est toujours très frais, préparé devant moi, & délicieux!
Leurs prix sont tout à fait convenables compte tenu de la qualité des produits!
Je commande toujours pour apporté & c'est sincèrement les meilleurs sushi du plateau mont-Royal !
Toujours frais, plein de variété, de goût & le prix est vraiment honnête! J'adore, en plus le staff est super gentil.

You might not expect much from a simple one room space sushi place (yes that seems to rhyme by complete chance), but this one does roll quite high despite first appearances.
Upon further interaction you will find a very friendly & welcoming Catherine serving customers at the counter, within ear shot of her is sushi Chef Vince who is just to the left preparing some pretty darn fresh & tasty sushi delights.
Then let's not forget Quan prepping & assisting just a few feet behind the other two members of the small but mighty team.
Some of the stand out dishes & points from a few visits thus far have been their memorable sushi pizza which is neither heavy nor greasy like many others around town can be. You can actually eat the whole thing & not feel gross which leaves more room for chef's choice creations with ingredients like perfect textured avocado & salmon which they also fashion into well presented florets (despite being pretty are very easily consumed).
A few small side notes about well their'sauces'.
Slightly spicy mayo works well with the sushi pizza. Their house blended soy is not too salty, yet still remains very umami tasting & finally their wasabi a bit darker green than most & a bit more dense which made it harder to dissolve in the soy sauce & therefore did not give the typical nose burn - a love hate type of experience. That said, I don't think it is authentic to drop your wasabi in the soy sauce & mix it around so this will surely not take away any of the stars.
There is a small counter for eating on-site which comes in handy since it's hard to resist eating it super fresh.
To sum up with several simple words: fresh, quality, light, upbeat & pleasant.

Amazing sushi for the price especially the special 2 for 1 they have on uber eats it's so worth it & fresh & delicious!! super rare to find a gem like this in montreal these days.
Nous avons commander 20 morceaux dans le deux pour un sur uber & wow 😍 vraiment delicieux avant meme d'ouvrir la boite on sens les saveur , toute est frais & goûteux je recommende sa fesais longtemps que nous avions pas eu d'aussi bon sushi en livraison , prix dans le marché mais avec une très bonne qualité
We've been eating here for months & the quality, service & price is always amazing! Definitely recommend!
