Review Summary

Comptoir KOYAJO is described as a cozy, welcoming spot with a calm vibe and friendly, efficient service. The menu features comforting bowls such as udon and ramen, a spicy chicken bowl, a smoked salmon bowl, beef bibimbap and various vegetarian options, with some standout drinks like an especially good iced coffee. Takeout experiences are praised for quick, courteous service and reasonable prices. While the majority praise the food and ambiance, a few notes mention that some dishes can feel repetitive and one chicken bowl was not as fresh as expected, and one ramen was perceived as instant. Across reviews, the owners and the overall atmosphere are consistently highlighted as kind and hospitable, making Comptoir KOYAJO feel like a reliable, neighborhood favorite.

Found this place by chance it was the only restaurant open & it did not disappoint.
We got the beef bibimbap with an iced coffee, it was very good n filling.
The coffee was probably one of the best iced coffees i've ever had. I usually add vanilla syrup to my coffee but this was naturally sweet enough.
The owners were also very sweet & super friendly.

I'm a concordia student who spends a lot of time at the loyola campus & this bistro is my go to for lunch/dinner & surprisingly coffee!! The food is so flavorful, filling, healthy, & affordable for a student budget. I love their spicy chicken. Their service is fantastic they are so friendly & dining there is a nice cozy experience. & their regular coffee for only $3.50 is a vietnamese style coffee & far superior to the coffee on campus, or even at Second Cup cafe for example. This place is a must try for any concordia loyola students or for anyone in the area.
