Food Sea Bass (A little bland. I think I would have liked a bit of texture like something crunchy) Grilled Duck Breast (The mushroom puree was a miss for us) Creme Blulee (Top was burned) Service Very friendly Atmosphere Nice chill & laid back. Cozy & intimate.View more
Some of the food was good, but most was too salty. The tartare tasted funny & the waiter made a mistake with one plate & tried to tell us we we didn't tell him what we wanted correctly. He often seemed to forget about us, not coming back to see if we were ok & not refilling water - we had to track him down to tell him the order was wrong & again when we wanted the bills. Ok restaurant if you're staying at the hotel, but I would not recommend otherwise.View more
Très bons plats, très beau décor, mais le service est très lent.View more
I stayed here at the end of February & absolutely loved my stay. Chic new cozy trendy hotel. I sincerely think it's one of the best places I've stayed in a very long time. The details in the architecture of this place is absolutely divine. Not a single spot didn't leave me in awe. It's absolutely gorgeous in all of the common spaces. The breakfast at the Commodore was delicious. Service was a little slow & wonky at first but staff was friendly & food was extra yummy, well cooked & seasoned. Staff throughout the hotel were very friendly & welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay. The room was gorgeous & clean. The only thing I didn't really like is the toilet situation... No one wants to be heard when nature calls, doesn't matter if you're in a romantic or platonic situation...closed room with a fan will always be the way to go.View more
The main meals were delicious. Well plated. The service was reasonable. The entrees were also beautifully decorated, but I feel we were served 1 scallop sliced thinly. Would have liked to finish the dinner with a decaf but none was availableView more
Had brunch at Commodore with family after my teen saw it on TickTok (!!!). Everything was perfect but it's clearly overpriced. Sharp & kind staff, great ambience, generous & delicious meals. But at 124$ for 3, without alcohol or specialty coffee, it's clearly overpriced & that's why I didn't give 5 stars.View more
Dinner service was slow but the waiter was delightful, helpful & overall good. The food itself was underwhelming & flavorless. The menu is lacking & limited, so it's hard to decide what to order. Breakfast/brunch was where it fell off. Next morning I went for brunch, got seated but no one ever came to even offer water. I waited for a while trying to flag someone down. After 30 mins of nothing, I walked out.View more
View more
Everything about this place is 10/10; amazing food, great service, & really nice ambiance. Restaurant is located inside the HONEYROSE Hotel.View more
Very impressed with our dinner & desserts tonight at Commodore. Great service too!View more
Un superbe restaurant au coeur de l'hôtel Honeyrose. Une deco 50's très classe. Cuisine de qualité & ambiance BCBG.View more
Gnocchi was dry & unrecognizable. Duck breast had good flavor but was very tough & over cooked. Took a long time (1 hour) to get our main course, it was obvious the kitchen forgot our order. No big deal but kinda messed up our plans for the night. Had to remind the staff & flag them down to get anything. But it was clean & the Espresso martini was good!View more
The atmosphere & the place are very cute, the service was very good & the staff were nice. The food was OKAY, I got the vege egg benedict for brunch, it can be better. They have GF options.View more
Great food but service is just nonexistent. We were there for dinner last night as hotel guests. The server sat us at the table but then didn't come back even with the water for a good half & hours, the same issue continued throughout the night. At the end we considered ordering the dessert & asked to see the dessert menu. The server said she will go get the menu & disappeared again. We waited & waited for well over 30 minutes & then had to flag another server to just ask for our final bill. Awful experience.View more
Best service I've ever had in Montreal, the food is phenomenal & it's definitely a must try!!!View more
The food was mostly really good. Fish of the moment was way overpriced compared to the rest of the menu (for a cheap fish). Service was mediocre at best.View more
The place is really beautiful & fancy but a bit dark. The food is overpriced for the taste, it wasn't amazing at all & the menu is a bit empty, more choices would be appreciated. The fries were too salty, I couldn't finish them. The staff was okay. The lady at reception was such a sweetheart.View more
