Really great cocktails that are quite inventive. The food is both creative & delicious, with a la carte or pre-fixe options. Mary Lou made our experience a delight!
Fantastic experience! Mary Lou was an amazing server-very friendly, professional, & knowledgeable about the menu. The food was incredibly flavorful & exceeded our expectations. Great service & great food. We'll definitely be back!
Mary-lou is the guide you always want to have when dining at a restaurant. Cool fun knowledgable & took care of us all night. Standout dish was asparagus & peas.
We noticed this restaurant as we were passing by. We decided to try it as they had space available on the patio.
We really liked their concept.
They have an amazing cocktail list.
The food & service was great.
We ordered the white asparagus & ravioli served in a broth which were good starters.
Then we shared a whole branzino which was delicious (although the skin was quite burnt)
I would have given 5 stars but the reason we gave 4 stars is because my wife & I were sick after the meal.
It was on a hot day & that sort of thing can happen anywhere.
So I recommend this restaurant for its interesting menu & cocktail list.
I was very excited to visit Coco Disco Club, but my friends & I were quite disappointed by our experience.
The waitress was lovely, the drinks were good, & the ambiance was overall welcoming. However, the space itself was uncomfortably warm & stuffy despite the cool rainy weather outside.
We had the three-course tasting menu, which very much felt like a ripoff. I regret spending $100 on this meal. The first course consisted of burnt bread & various bland dips. For the second course, we were offered a spoonful of hummus with some chopped nuts & a few slices of roasted bell peppers, alongside three mussels. The third course -which I'm assuming was supposed to be the main dish- consisted of a very greasy latke served with an overly sweet whipped butter/cream & a marinaded egg yolk, alongside some mujjol caviar.
I unfortunately threw up right after leaving the restaurant, & my friends complained about feeling bloated & unwell. I would not recommend the food here.
I came here to catch up with my friends (one of whom is visiting from overseas) with the confidence that I was taking them to a have a great meal. Unfortunately I was sorely mistaken. The food that we had was horrible. It was to the point that one of my friends threw up in the alley seconds after we left the restaurant. For the price that we paid, the food was extremely disappointing & cheaply made. While the service was good, the space was unbearably hot & the drinks were overpriced. I definitely do not recommend this place & strongly urge them to reconsider the items they include in their tasting menu.
The server was so nice & attentive. But I have to say, the food was incredibly underwhelming :( I am by no means a food connoisseur & am very easy to please, but I regret dropping $100 on this meal. We did the 3 dish tasting menu & our only request was no pork, but the only protein we got was three little muscles on the second tiny dish. It was a very bland, basically vegetarian meal. The first course was bread with dips, all of them tasted the same & the bread was burnt. The final'main' course was the latke (fried potato with a creamy sauce & egg yolk on top) which was tasty but really not worth it as the main. For this price point I would recommend L'Express or Sorino down the street, places that left me very satisfied for the money spent.
Also the room was so warm & humid I was sweating the entire time. Just an unpleasant experience.
