Club Unity stands out for a multi floor experience with three distinct vibes, strong DJs, and an energetic atmosphere that keeps music and lights aligned for an unforgettable night, including a rooftop area with swings and a welcoming, inclusive crowd; staff are generally friendly and efficient, helping in tricky moments like coat check issues and keeping service moving on busy nights, and the energy is described as unmatched with even first timers feeling safe and able to relax; however, some guests note that entry and drink prices are high and that tap water is not available prompting bottled water purchases, and a few interactions with security or bouncers felt pushy or rushed at the end of the night, which can detract from the overall experience; despite these downsides, Club Unity remains a popular Montreal destination with a fun atmosphere and a strong sense of community.
If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My entire night at Club Unity was completely ruined by the staff here, starting from the second we arrived.
The bouncers are on a massive power trip. They were completely unprofessional, needlessly aggressive, & treated paying customers like absolute garbage for no reason. It's supposed to be a welcoming environment.
Save your time & your money. Go literally anywhere else where a business actually respects its client. The vibe is completely killed by the people working here. I will definitely not be coming back.
J'ai été au Club Unity samedi soir. La musique était très mauvaise & les deux DJs étaient de très bas niveau. Moi qui sors souvent en événements & en festivals, je ne recommande pas cet endroit si vous recherchez de la musique de qualité.
Je déconseille ce club. L'expérience a été profondément dérangeante. Les agents de sécurités sont armé de couteaux. Le propriétaire, quant à lui, s'est montré particulièrement désagréable & peu à l'écoute de sa clientèle. C'est, sans aucun doute, l'une des pires expériences que j'ai vécues à Montréal dans un club.
Je sais pas trop ce qui se passe, mais côté musical c'est plus du tout comme avant. Si on compare au Nouvel An, c'était une des meilleures soirées de ma vie. J'y étais samedi &, honnêtement, la musique était vraiment pas bonne. C'était mon club préféré, mais là je vais prendre un break pendant quelques mois…

Expérience très décevante. Le secrétariat a eu une attitude froide, hautaine & irrespectueuse. Nous avons eu l'impression d'être traités de manière injuste & différente, ce qui est totalement inacceptable
Expérience très mauvaise, musique pathétique. Rien n'est comparable à ce que j'ai vécu l'été dernier. De plus, un membre du staff était très désagréable & impoli. Je ne recommande absolument pas ce club.…
Bouncers are wild they got knives for no reason. Please hire respectful bouncers.
Also this place is expensive for nothing. Its nothing different from other clubs.

Je suis allé au Unity avec quelques amis pour passer une bonne soirée. On était de bonne humeur, bien habillés, prêts à profiter de la musique & de l'ambiance.
Au début, tout était correct. Mais assez rapidement, on a senti que quelque chose clochait. Des regards insistants, des attitudes froides… comme si on dérangeait sans raison.
Puis il y avait Sandrine Diamond.
Son comportement a changé dès qu'elle a commencé à interagir avec nous. Ce n'était pas juste sec ou professionnel. c'était chargé. Le genre de ton qui te fait comprendre que ce n'est pas un simple malentendu.
À un moment, elle s'est approchée & a commencé à dire des choses complètement déplacées, visant directement certains de mes amis en raison de leurs origines. Le genre de propos qui te coupe net, qui crée un silence lourd autour, où tout le monde comprend que ça dépasse largement les limites.
On s'est regardés entre nous, sans trop savoir comment réagir. C'était choquant, humiliant… & surtout inattendu dans un endroit qui se dit inclusif.
Le pire, c'est que personne n'est intervenu. Comme si ce genre de comportement passait.
La soirée s'est arrêtée là pour nous. On est partis avec un sentiment de malaise profond.
C'est rare qu'un endroit te fasse sentir aussi peu à ta place.
if i could rate zero stars i would, watched them grab & push someone who was in tears & not fighting back. disappointing given the price for cover but id rather not attend a club that sees assault as an acceptable reaction to conflict
additionally after my friends & i left bad reviews, they called my friend & berated her over the phone. they tried to suggest that she was both stupid & a brat, & then when that didn't work they tried to call her homophobic (she's queer). incredibly strange way for a business to operate. if you're looking for a safe space to club, this is not the place.
also, they offer a free shot if you post a 5 star review, so i would suggest looking at the bad reviews & listening to those instead
Second time at club unity last night. Being from Toronto. It's fair to say the Toronto club scene completely sucks, when compared to what Montreal has to offer. Unity did not disappoint the first or the second time, great Dj's, security could've been a little less pushy but overall a great experience.
