Visited this place during my Montreal trip. I like it. Entry fee is 12$ per person. They accept cash only. I didn't have any cash in hand. So I talked with the employee & paid via debit card. Great customer service. Feel safe. Me & my girlfriend really enjoyed.❤?

My friend & I had an absolute blast at Electric Avenue. They play a nice variety of classic songs (e.g. ABBA, Metallica, The Weeknd, 50 Cent), as well as some latin & quebecois classics. The entrance fee was $12. Generally speaking, the crowd was a bit older, which makes sense given the catalogue of music that the DJ was spinning. If you are looking for a place to dance the night away to some great tunes, I cannot recommend this place more!

The vibe is excellent, the DJ is spinning really fun tracks & the crowd engagement is good. The dancefloor & lighting is cool. The drinks are ridiculous though. I do not know how'measured' pours can equal less than an inch (2cm) of liquor for a DOUBLE in a collins glass full of ice. That means less than 1oz (29ml)for $30 CAD. Maybe in Las Vegas or Ibiza that makes sense, in Montreal with a mostly empty club of about 30 people, not so much. So much potential, its just sad they waste it on scamming tourists with these joke drinks.

Went for a eurodance 90s-00s night, but from time to time there was music not from this time & totally different from eurodance, I guess it was fine since it was only couple times. My first bad impression was at the entrance where I was told I had to coat check my hat.... MY HAT! (I mean is coat check, not hat check) there was $5 unexpected dollars, which wasn't much for the money, but the experience of this moment went so down.
Music selection of the actual 90s-00s was very good! The DJ have to work a loooot on his DJ skills, meaning the mixing wasn't smooth.
Now the good side: The atmosphere was very good! sound was excellent & well equalized, 2 bars at the side very good to have whenever we walk around, bartenders were fast & always with a smile in their faces, dancefloor lights & the upper light things gave a groovey sense, very cool! I'll give this place another visit sometime soon :)

- However, drunk individuals who disturb others without permission 👿 are just kicked out, hahahaha! 😂
- Safe Space: Even when the dance floor is crowded, it's easy to navigate to the bar 🍹, coat check, smoke a joint outside 🚬, or use the restroom 🚻.
- No young dumb street gangs are present, lol 🙌

Ooooohmygod! J'avais oublié que c'était ici! J'y venais régulièrement, il y a 25 ans, pour y danser sur les hits des années 80.. wooooooooow.. les interminables line-up à l'extérieur pour attendre que le doorman nous laisse passer! Mais non, je n'ai jaaaaamais danser de "slow" avec quelqu'un.. même si on y allait un peu avec cet espoir.. hahahaha!

Mixed experiences here. The cover is always cheap, but that grants access to a lot of creeps & obnoxious people who can't control their drinking & could easily ruin your evening. Nowhere to sit down unless you buy a $500 bottle of $40 alcohol. The 80's vibe can be fun, but it's hit-or-miss. The whole thing would work a lot better if they just raised the price of admission a little. Then they wouldn't have to hold seats for ransom, & people with money would actually want to go back again. But being situated near Concordia, they have a revolving door of fresh clientele & they obviously don't care.
