Great little hidden cocktail bar. We came across this spot & decided to stop in for a drink. We sat up at the bar & Shelby was our bartender, he was extremely knowledgeable & friendly. He gave us the idea to do a tequila tasting which we opted for. Shelby put together a tasting flight with different citruses, salts & even crickets that go well with the tequilas. We had an amazing experience & will for sure return when we are back in Montreal.

I was excited to try this speakeasy bar, & it did not disappoint. The atmosphere was unique & intimate, making it a perfect spot for a special night out.
The bartender was incredibly knowledgeable & offered thoughtful recommendations. While I don't have much experience with tequila or mezcal, I genuinely enjoyed trying their curated selections-it was a great introduction to both. I'd definitely come back!

This place is a once in a lifetime experience. I was a bartender in a previous life & was completely mesmerized by this place. These are chemists in here granting wishes & making dreams come true beyond your wildest imagination. Please allow them to wow you with their gifts… Legends… nothing else can describe their skillls but that word.
My friends from out of town & I really enjoyed this intimate speakeasy. All the drinks were good. My favorite was the colada with curry based horchata (sounds funny but sooo worth it). The bartender/owner was kind & easy to talk to. Music was also great.
Le Clandestin is my absolute favorite speakeasy in the Old Port! The decor & ambiance are so dimly lit, mysterious, & intimate-you truly feel like time stops! The selection of tequila & cocktails? Just wow, wow, wow! The service is super professional, & the bartenders are absolutely top-notch. It's the perfect spot for a post-dinner cocktail, whether you're on a date or out with friends.

Calsa verde cocktail was very good, one of the best I ever had. Dj was playing too. bartender with the hat was super nice. but the bartender with the gloves splashed me with whatever drink he was making multiple times. He seemed a bit annoyed. I was sitting alone minding my own business lol
Upon walking in we were greeted by Yanick who was smiling & gave great service. As we walked down to the bar I met the bartender Thomas who was fantastic, answered all my questions & took time to make me a perfect cocktail. 11/10 would recommend & will definitely be back. Thanks Clandestino!
Personalized & attentive service. Bartenders were keen & passionate to share about which signature cocktails would suit my palate & educate me about different types of tequilas & mezcals. Having their mezcal riff on a corpse reviver #2 was a welcome offering.
Definitely worth going to Clandestino's. Rare is it to find Tequila & Mezcal selections like this. With bartenders who have a deep understanding of those spirits. Will definitely go back. Sit at the bar with Michel if you can, he'll teach you a lot. ;)
His place is a great bar to sit & chill with a couple of friends. The bartender Thomas is the GOAT he know a lot about the drinks there are give awesome recomendations.
