Only if your staying in Hilton Garden inn:
PRO
- Quality of food is good.
- the staff are profession, but can use a bit more polishing & etiquette
- price is similar to surrounding restaurants with similar good quality
CON:
- Always appear to be understaffed; especially during breakfast - so come early
- If you stay in the hotel, you cannot charge to your room, unless you are gold or diamond member - this stinks!
- no room delivery unless you are gold or diamond member.
If you are in the mood to go out & grab a bite to eat, go! If you you want to stay in, then yes... I recommend the food.View more
Café Circos inside the Hilton Garden Inn offered a regular but convenient breakfast for hotel guests. The servers were quite busy but still managed to provide good service considering the high volume of customers they were handling. It's a solid option for those staying at the hotel & looking for a hassle-free breakfast experience.View more
It's good if you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. I wouldn't recommend a trip to it if you are not though. The food is good, but it's right next to the lobby of the hotel so not a great atmosphere. I had the flank steak with parsnip purée & veggies. The steak was good, but slightly overcooked.View more
If you're staying at the Garden Inn, it's almost mandatory a stop end of the day for a drink & relax. Not really a diverse menu with too many options but the ones they have are pretty good.View more
I would like to thank the manager at Hilton Garden Inn for helping me out with what was a tough situation. Daniel T. merci beaucoup, vous etes tres gentille & sympatique. I was visiting Montreal to be of support to a family member who was undergoing a serious operation. My room was huge & amazing, & for someone who usually stays at air bnbs, it was my first good lodging experience in the city as a tourist (bnbs in Mtl really suck compared to other towns & cities). Upon waking up the next day I realized that I had contracted a cold & sore throat & would absolutely not be able to be anywhere near this person I had come to support; before or after their operation. Hotel policy states that you cannot cancel at this point of your stay, but there was no reason for me to stay the rest of the week (which was my original plan). I spoke with Daniel, not really expecting him to be able to do anything, & once I had explained the situation, he took care of it with no hesitation. This kind of compassionate human interaction should be applauded, & more venues in Montreal should finally start to adopt this type of customer first/ human first approach towards guests, which I hate to say is not quite yet what Montreal (my home town) is known for. This type of service would create trust & attract way more tourists to this city which I still love very much. I have seen a better way, & so has Daniel T - again thank you for your compassion my friend! I can't wait to come back & stay with you in better times!View more
Absolutely 💯 fabulous location to McGill, downtown walking distance to shops, food, & entertainment. The absolutely best staff team I have encountered over my 10 years of traveling all over the world. Will be back for a pleasure vacation. Thank you, Hilton Garden Inn Montreal 💜View more
