The servers were quite busy but still managed to provide good service considering the high volume of customers they were handling. It's a solid option for those staying at the hotel & looking for a hassle-free breakfast experience.Voir plus
It's good if you are staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. I wouldn't recommend a trip to it if you are not though. The food is good, but it's right next to the lobby of the hotel so not a great atmosphere. I had the flank steak with parsnip purée & veggies. The steak was good, but slightly overcooked.Voir plus
Prix cher avec des petits portions; il y a mieux que ça dans le coinVoir plus
Comida excelente e muito cuidado no atendimento. Nota máxima!!! Melhor que muitos restaurantes caros por MontrealVoir plus
Shoutout to Justin who works in the mornings, during breakfast hours. He is pleasant, extremely hardworking & super friendly!
He is the only 2 of the morning waiters, & by all appearances the only one who takes orders & goes from table to table. The other dude, bosses Justin around.
This isn't my first time here & noticed it every time.
Justin needs to get recognized for his extreme hardwork & still manages to keep a smile.
I absolutely love the french toast here.Voir plus
If you're staying at the Garden Inn, it's almost mandatory a stop end of the day for a drink & relax. Not really a diverse menu with too many options but the ones they have are pretty good.Voir plus
The roasted chicken & vegetables was delicious - highly recommend it. The burger was really good, too.Voir plus
Excellent service every morning, Zennifer & Sunny hustled to keep our cups full of coffee. The menu was full of hearty dishes & the eggs cooked to order were spot on. All the plates came with lots of sides as well. Big breakfast every day of the stay. Thanks for making the mornings easy.Voir plus
Both breakfast & dinner were good but breakfast waiter was arrogant & showed that he was very busyVoir plus
Why say no to an included hotel breakfast? Because the service is godawful & they're inflexible regarding any modifications to their dishes! While the host stand asks you to give them the "pleasure" of seating you, the employees actively avoid eye contact for way too long while you wait to be seated. (Two days in a row!) Once seated but not provided menus, a waiter wanted our order, so we ordered menus. Items available on our first day's visit were not available the next day, despite nothing changing except the calendar page. Inflexible, slow, uninspired (the food & the service). Decent quality food but the male servers sure could use some "how to interact with guests" training. Free breakfast? You get what you pay for.Voir plus
I had the chicken. Very, VERY tasty. The service is was excellent as well... I don't understand why this restaurant is rated so low on Google. I've been to other restaurants with higher ratings that aren't even in the same league as this one. Yeah, the atmosphere was not so good, with no music, & annoying compressor sounds coming from the bar... but it was empty... the food & service here is 5 star.Voir plus
Decent breakfast a la carte. Eggs, pineapple, cantaloupe, toast, hash brown, sausage, cereal.Voir plus
I would like to thank the manager at Hilton Garden Inn for helping me out with what was a tough situation. Daniel T. merci beaucoup, vous etes tres gentille & sympatique. I was visiting Montreal to be of support to a family member who was undergoing a serious operation. My room was huge & amazing, & for someone who usually stays at air bnbs, it was my first good lodging experience in the city as a tourist (bnbs in Mtl really suck compared to other towns & cities). Upon waking up the next day I realized that I had contracted a cold & sore throat & would absolutely not be able to be anywhere near this person I had come to support; before or after their operation. Hotel policy states that you cannot cancel at this point of your stay, but there was no reason for me to stay the rest of the week (which was my original plan). I spoke with Daniel, not really expecting him to be able to do anything, & once I had explained the situation, he took care of it with no hesitation. This kind of compassionate human interaction should be applauded, & more venues in Montreal should finally start to adopt this type of customer first/ human first approach towards guests, which I hate to say is not quite yet what Montreal (my home town) is known for. This type of service would create trust & attract way more tourists to this city which I still love very much. I have seen a better way, & so has Daniel T - again thank you for your compassion my friend! I can't wait to come back & stay with you in better times!Voir plus
