Don't believe the bad reviews. Went here with my family & ordered pizza, fries & garlic bread. It was delicious & the service was excellent! Family friendly. Loved sitting outside on the patio by the water.
I'm very surprised at the number of poor reviews! My husband, two younger children & I had lunch here today. We ordered three pizzas & the spaghetti bolognese & it was great! The service was excellent & prompt. Our server was very friendly & accommodating. We would definitely eat here again.
We had an excellent experience here this week. The host (owner?) Mario was very welcoming & made sure we were well taken care of. We had poutine & pizza, both of which were great.
Trop cher pour ce que c'est. L'assiette de pâte est minuscule & la pizza est de très mauvaise qualité.
Stopped to get a quick lunch & the pizza was lovely & their water is very refreshing. Overall lovely experience.
The pizza here is average at best. The Margherita pizza was missing basil. The chicken & olive pizza was also adequate. Service was fine but nothing special. Sitting on the patio was enjoyable.
We were first greeted at the door, passing by, exhausted & hungry. The older gentleman asked if we would like a table, made some small talk as he sat us & called his waitress over. She only spoke french, but we were able to order just fine. I ordered the margarita pizza (basil tomatoes & cheese traditionally) & my husband, the bolognase (his favorite dish). First redflag.....the restaurant we realized was totally empty, & the old man was trying to get people to stop. Second red flag.... I ordered a vodka cranberry that tasted like water with a hint of cranberry. There was no vodka in my drink. Third... the wait wasn't bad if it was good food, but I received a burnt cheese pizza & & my husband had 5 minutes noodles with jar sauce. Zero flavor & very watery. We flagged down the waitress to pay the bill & the bill was much higher than I thought. $100! (USD) I didn't think the menu had this high of prices listed but we were tired & hungry so maybe they did. The food was edible...but not at all good & certainly not worth the cost.
We stopped in for dinner on a whim while in Montreal for the Grand Prix. We were greeted immediately by the owner, who was friendly, welcoming & attentive. The food was very good - our table had a combination of the pizza, ceaser salads & pastas & shared a bottle of house wine. The food was a solid "two thumbs" up by all the parties involved - with maybe the odd opinion that the pasta dishes could have been a bit bigger. It was a nice relaxing dinner - & while shopping the next day we dropped in to chat about hockey for a bit longer with the owner. Thanks for the great evening!
