We had two plates & asked for extra pita. We recieved the extra pitas but not the ones that should come with the order. The greek potatoes were too salty for our taste & we only got one tzaziki on the size instead of two. We had a greek salad & recieved a large container of salad dressing. I think it was a mistake. We had it as part of a catered lunch & found it better that time. Over all it was average tasting.
This is not your typical greek souvlaki restaurant. It is a family run & very popular restaurant for many of greek community. As you walk into the restaurant you will pass the kitchen where you will see the cooks in action. You will also see a glass display where you will see a variety of home made looking meals from the stuffed peppers, roast lamb , mousaka, & just to name a few. Some just prefer a classic pita with the fillings, but personally I would strongly recommend the roast ppork & lemon potatoes.Reseravations are strongly recommended as it is not a huge reataurant.
Trying new restaurants is important to us. When friends recommend restaurants, they are often disappointing.
Not this one.
Wow! Was I impressed.
Reservations are a must. We made one a week in advance. Good thing. By 6:45, our reservation was for 7, it was full & people kept coming in & having to leave because they didn't have space. It's a very small restaurant.
With a really nice menu, providing the customer with a variety of options, it was hard to decide.
We started with the sliced Beet Salad served with a small amount of Feta. The dressing was a simple light drizzle of olive oil. Delicious!
My husband ordered the Moussaka. When it arrived at the table I didn't think it would be enough for him...but it was. Loaded with potatoes, eggplant & a tomato meat sauce it was very filling & delicious.
I, on the other hand, went for the traditional souvlaki pita with lemon potatoes & house salad.
Not crazy about the salad being served on the same plate as my pita but because the dressing was not watery there was no spill over making the pita soggy. But the dressing was amazing. Homemade is the best.
The potatoes were perfectly cooked where the outside was firm & the inside was fluffy with a slight lemony flavor.
The Souvlaki Pita was perfect like in Greece. With a thicker pita, pork cubes cooked to perfection & fresh ripe juicy tomatoes filling the bread. I had it without onions & the tziziki on the side.
Don't forget the Mythos beer. They have that too.
Will I go back? Absolutely 💯 💯 💯
A family-owned restaurant serving up authentic Greek food. It was our first time here & both the service & atmosphere were very welcoming - our waiter took the time to explain the menu & the daily specials. The ambience is cozy & great for small groups. We ordered the pork gyro pita plate & moussaka, & both were good. We'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.
La nourriture était délicieuse & l'ambiance est fortement conviviale. Malgré un malentendu lors d'une commande, ils nous ont compensé avec des pitas & du dessert gratuit! Merci beaucoup & désolé pour toute complication! God bless you!!!
Saturday, December 5, 2025 at 5:45PM my family of 4 one of the best dining out experiences ever.
We started with the cabbage rolls, fried calamari & pikilia platter.
Then my children & husband had souvlaki & gyro pitas & I had the oven roasted lamb with Greek potatoes.
My husband & I shared a 1/2 liter of what i believe is their house wine, which brought me back to the days of drinking my Nonno's homemade wine.
Everything was absolutely phenomenal. Flavour that wasn't overwhelming at all & infused with so much love.
From beginning to end the service was friendly & engaging.
Thank you to everyone who made my birthday dinner a great experience.
We will definitely be back.
Excellent food, probably best pita I have had in a long time. Amazing service, super friendly. Great family run business. Woukd go back anytime.
Went for takeout for lunch. They are quick. We ordered the chicken souvlaki pita & a moussaka. The pita bread was excellent & the sandwich was well dressed with just enough tzatziki but not so much that it was dripping & messy to eat. The flavor of the sandwich was well balanced but the souvlaki could have used a little more marinating but I am nit picking here. The moussaka was very good but a little bit on the oily side. Overall 2 good dishes & if I'm in the neighborhood I would return & try there other offerings.
Let me preface this review by saying this: This restaurant is known for its authentic Greek cuisine. This is not what we ordered so I'm not reviewing that. We ordered Gyros with pita & loose meat with side orders of Calamari & the food was very good I can't complain. It wasn't excellent but just very good. The service however suffered terrible on that date Wednesday August 20th. First , we were 9 people with 8 glasses of water. I'll let you guess how long it took to get that missing glass. Perhaps it was coming from Kalamata.. when it arrived we were half way done. Speaking of done, my sister ordered some extra tzatziki sauce & it came after she was done with the meal. It was charged on the bill at first but owner apologized & credited the 5$. The busboy is a good kid but a lack of attention & engagement that night was obvious. There was a couple of other things that I won't mention because they were minor. I hope my next visit will be better.
