Review Summary

Chez Titas is widely regarded as a premier destination for authentic Filipino cuisine in the West Island, consistently praised for its warm, family-oriented atmosphere and exceptionally friendly service. Diners frequently highlight the generous, shareable platters as a perfect way to experience a variety of dishes, with standout items including the flavorful sisig, crispy fried chicken, pork skewers, and comforting bulalo broth. While most guests describe the meals as fresh, delicious, and reminiscent of home-cooked comfort food, the restaurant also excels at accommodating special dietary needs and hosting events. With reasonable prices and a cozy, inviting interior that occasionally features live music and karaoke, it has quickly become a favorite neighborhood spot for those seeking high-quality, soulful meals.

We ordered Tita's platter for 2, pork sisig, lechon sinigang, eggplant ensalada, leche flan & turon. Some items were great: bbq skewers, sinigang & sisig. A few items were ok & underwhelming. Overall, great place to eat Filipino food.

Staff are very friendly & the place had a cozy vibe.

Upon arrival to this small family owned restaurant in point Claire I was surprised to get this warm welcoming from the restaurant & I believe it must be a family-owned restaurant just by the warm greeting we received as soon as you walk inside, we wanted to try Filipino food & I have to say by far this was amazing from the appetizers to the main course meal everything was perfect fresh food fresh ingredients, the pork skewers were amazing, we got the platter you share for four people & let me tell you the food was a lot but oh my God amazing I would highly suggest if you're a large group of people to take the shared for four people it is amazing,'they even have the same platter you can share for two people but you can only choose fried chicken or grilled chicken' we took (9people) one with grilled chicken & the other one with fried chicken delicious fried chicken & grilled chicken & the dessert we got a plantain roll with a sweet sauce amazing & I have to give it to the stuff there on Saturday night march 7th at chez Tita's you guys are amazing keep doing what you're doing even though you guys are just opened not too long ago just keep being the authentic home feeling Filipino welcoming vibe. Our new fav Filipino spot, 5 star food & service. The owners are so incredibly friendly & the food was fresh & SO flavourful. We tried many Filipino restaurants around Montreal/West Island but Chez Tita's was by far #1. We ordered the Tita's platter & shared it between 3 of us & it was the perfect amount of food. We also ordered the bulalo & the broth was outstanding, you could tell it was cooked low & slow with love. I am typically not crazy about sisig but I fell in love with the sisig here, it was not too oily & the caramelized onion flavour was incredible. The turon & cassava rolls are also worth ordering. Needless to say, this will be our new go-to Filipino spot! 😋

This was my second time ordering the platter for 2 from Chez Titas, & once again it was amazing! The portion easily feeds 3 people. Everything was delicious-perfectly cooked rice, crispy lumpia, flavourful chicken skewers, fried chicken, grilled chicken, & tender pork belly.

Consistent quality, generous portions, & great value. Definitely one of my go?to spots for comfort food.

Pardon the half-eaten photo because I was too hungry & forgot to take them beforehand. What you see isn't the full portion since I had already started eating.

I ordered the Tita's Platter, which includes 2 cups of rice, 2 pork BBQ skewers, 5 lumpiang shanghai, lechon, atsara, 2 pieces of chicken (fried or Mang Inasal style), & sauces. I'd rate it more of 3.5/5 stars.

Portions were generous & overall the food was decent, but a few items could use more flavour:

-The lumpia sauce tasted like a watered-down sweet chili.
-The lechon had good flavour, but the pieces I received were mostly fat & I would have preferred more meat.
-The fried chicken had a nostalgic taste similar to the chicken my grandma used to make, although the pieces we received were a bit overcooked.
-The pork BBQ tasted like a regular BBQ skewer. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. The pork was hard to chew. It must be the cut of pork they used.

I've had Filipino food my entire life, whether from my family or my friends' families, & I haven't found anything in the West Island that beats that home cooking. So maybe my expectations are naturally a bit higher.

This place is still newly opened, so I'm hopeful the flavours will develop over time. There's definitely potential for improvement.

Love this place! So happy to finally have a Filipino resto close to both home & work. The'Titas Platter' is a must, that fried chicken is so good! Even my son devoured the pancit! I'm usually not big on sisig, but theirs won me over. Can't wait to come back & try the rest of the menu 😊

Amazing filipino food with reasonable prices! Loved their shanghai rolls, grilled chicken (inasal) & pork skewer dipped in their garlicky vinegar sauce. I recommend getting their platter to taste all of these. The sizzling sisig was also on point! Can't wait to go back & try the rest of the menu! The lovely'titas' were also very welcoming & provided great service. 😊
