Waited over 40 minutes for our food, & unfortunately, the service was terrible. A table that arrived after us was served before us, even though we had been waiting much longer.

When I approached the server to politely ask how much longer our order would take, I was met with attitude, despite having a timestamp showing that we had already been waiting for over 40 minutes.

To make matters worse, they then attempted to serve our order to the other table. The only reason we finally received our order was because the other customers told the server they had already received those items.

After such a long wait & poor service, the food & drinks were underwhelming as well. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Do not, i repeat, do not try to order anything that is not written down on the menu. They will not make it for you. In fact, they'll be rude about not making it for.
They will also hate you if you do not speak french. I am serious. Use Google Translate, let it order for you & just try & swallow.But I can only call bug up their bum attitude.
It was the best brilled cheese i've ever had in my life & I even ate half of my husband smoked meat sandwich. But the service & the attitude , no , no.
There are a million other coffee places in Montreal, go there, heck, go to krispykreme ....at least there'll be nice to you.

We went to this restaurant because we actually read the name in a Louise Penny book. (The Grey Wolf)
We thought that since we go to Montreal all the time [from hundreds of km awsy) that we would try out because it sounded like it was really good. I am thinking that unless you're Armand Gamache, you are not going to like it here.

Really enjoyed the cafe. The gentleman who worked there also assisted me & my partner with some things to see & do in Montreal & how to get metro tickets etc. Cute atmosphere, good food & coffee. Great for a quick snack or breakfast in the morning.
