You must visit this exceptional place. If you are staying in the Old Port area, make it your own: It's several blocks up from the Clocktower Quai. You will feel like family, &--more soon--revel in the deliciousness. If you're not staying nearby, it's worth special trips. The pastries & sandwiches are out of this world--lavender scone, the best ever. Super high-quality condiments, drink mixes, & sweeteners are available. The ambiance is perfectly old-world charming. The owner & staff are the best. Can't give a high enough rating--thank you, all!
Super cute coffee shop! Unfortunately I arrived just as it was closing but got an iced latte & tea to go! Both were delicious! Service was also excellent!

Premier passage Chez Mère-Grand! La nourriture était excellente, le nouveau propriétaire est super sympathique & la nouvelle cuisinière l'était tout autant! Chapeau :)
Walking to Old Port & I discover this cute café. I asked the barista what he recommended, & he suggested the ham & cheese croissant. It didn't disappoint. I was delicious! It's near an intersection & hotel, so there are a lot of people that come in & out. I love the French style feel of the décor.

J'suis passé en bike, pis j'me suis fait pogner par les reviews en ligne - ben déçu. Le latté avait l'air beau, mais cr*** qu'y'était chaud ! Tellement que j'pouvais même pas y goûter. Pas pro pantoute, pis en plus c'est dangereux. La bouffe ? Rien d'extra : un ti croissant avec une tranche de fromage pis deux mini tranches de jambon - 11,50 $ ? Come on, c'est ben trop cher pour c'que c'est. Pis y'prennent même pas la carte. C'est clair que j'reviens pas icitte.
