With a few tables to eat at, this Hungarian restaurant serves all the delights. From Cucumer & Beet salads to Veal Paprikash & Beef Goulash, all is made to order. The menu is small. Explanations of the dishes are clear. If you are in the area & are looking for something new, different, & delicious, this is the place to stop.View more
First let's understand what your expectations should be before you eat here. This is old school home style authentic Hungarian cooking at a high & genuine level. You come for the food, bonus is spontaneous music for anyone to play the on display piano & guitar, the warm friendly staff & service. They are going to be moving things around so that the dining area has its own section but I find this also quite fun & different. Great portions & very reasonable prices. They also do catering & will also take special (off menu) orders but best to call in advance to be sure they are prepared. Though reservations are not mandatory they have limited seating & it's best to be sure by reservation. If you are a Hungarian speaker - do feel comfortable to speak with the staff as they appreciate this very much. The menu is not wide, however, everything on the menu is awesome. They have a fruit & vegetable grocery at the front & fresh seafood & fish at the back. Fish variety if not wide but they are all top notch quality & fresh. I personally with to thank the staff & ownership for continuing the tradition of cooking Hungarian food to the Montreal populous as we need more restaurants like yours.View more
This place is amazing. Hands down one of the best Hungarian places to go around. The homey atmosphere & the piano with nice artwork & quick service. They even went out to get our favourite beers! Please try this place out & bring friends. They treat you like royalty.View more
What a great concept of the whole place! Besides that - GREAT food! Typical Austro-Hungarian cuisine, served in the most authentic way! Kaskaval pane was one of the best ones I have ever tried in my life! Compliments & greetings from Europe. Chapeau!View more
Excellent food prepared by a sweet cook making authentic Hungarian dishes! Eatery tucked into the back of a mainly Latino grocery store with plans to expand their Hungarian food offerings.View more
Delicious authentic Hungarian food in a cozy restaurant inside a small grocery. Everything we had was excellent, including the paprika chicken, rabbit, & chicken schnitzel.View more
This is my type of spot. Unassuming from the look, but perfect food, perfect service, perfect atmosphere. I will go back on the regular from now on.View more
I've never been in person, but I have ordered many times. The food is so good & smells so delicious once a skunk robbed my meal on my front door within minutes of it being delivered. Generous portions, fast service, worth fighting a skunk for!View more
A small hidden gem in a small grocery store! Delicious! We took the cordon bleu & the schnitzel with the crepe as a starter. It was a very nice experience, specially dining in a supermarket! We will definitely come back!View more

Wonderful food & hospitality in a wholly original location. A recent transplant to St Laurent Boulevard, tucked away in a grocery store with a fish monger, plus piano & guitar, this is a divine dining experience, reminiscent of the "old Montreal" that drew so many of us to this once-incredible city. Anna is lovely, the spätzle is incredible, the eggplant is excellent, the prices are right. It's also apportez votre vin but if you forget, the grocery store sells wine. Looking forward to coming back soon!!View more

5+ stars Nagyon finom, igazi házias ételek, a kiszolgálás nagyszeru, a hely jellege pedig elképeszto a boltban elhelyezett étkezo területtel. Köszönök mindent! Mint mondtam, visszatérek. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️View more
