Chelow BBQ is a Restaurant and catering company specialising in traditional Persian flavors. Our food is prepared the same way our grandmothers did, from scratch and never rushed. We practice this in everything we make from our fresh daily homemade yogurt and kebabs to our slow steeped stews and sauces.

Family owned little restaurant in the heart of West Island. The food was to die for, just like a grandmother would make. I had the pleasure to try every single dish on their menu (& I ate it all even though I was full.. that good) beyond the food being so amazing, the service & family are so sweet, warm, welcoming & friendly. They truly put love into every dish they make. It's a must try, & promise you'll keep going back!

I ordered lamb briyani , i had only 4 pieces of meat & a lots of rice . Not enough meat portions . Any briyani ive tried there is usually 6-8 pieces of meat in it . Also their Moosir isnt really the authentic persian yogurt. Its literally garlic sauce :/ the soup was ok. I dont really recommend....
I was really impressed. I took the kobideh kabbab sandwich. Really fresh ingredients & was delicious! Super hospitable as well, they gave me tea while I was waiting for the order. The ambiance is very cozy as well. Love this place, coming back for sure.
We ordered 2 king feast platters. We were given 2 of each of different size containers. One of the big containers had 2 king feast written on it. It was for two different houses. We just give 1 set of containers to another house. After breaking the fast when opened the big container. There was only rice inside. So, the other big container had all the meat. They could have told us when we picked up or just written it on the top. So we had to drive back & forth between houses. Beef fillet mignons were very hard, dry & chewy. It lacked flavours as well. The salad didn't have any dressing & mostly kales & lettuce. A very small amount of garlic & spicy sauce given which was hardly enough for 2 persons. Chicken kebab & rice were very good & tasty.
I ordered three things to take out & they gave me two. They stapled the food so I didn't even check until I brought food home. This is not a Persian restaurant but something else. Food is still good just not Persian flavor.
