I usually don't do reviews but this place deserves it! The atmosphere is so welcoming & cozy, while the food is warm & comforting. The meats aren't dry, the falafel is one of the best I've ever had, & the bread is so soft & delicious.
The service is also amazing, they're really kind & charismatic! Especially Latif, you're awesome!
This place fed me a lot during my university year!

I am used to vegetarian falafels with the soft shell flour wrap,what these guys do is make a falafel with a sesame seed bun- Fantastic & a lot of food for the price around 13$ with Pepsi
As a vegan, finding flavorful, satisfying options can sometimes be a challenge-but Chef Istanbul absolutely nails it! Their falafel sandwich is hands down the best in Montreal. It's a go-to comfort food that never disappoints. The bread is freshly baked & the best bread I have ever had.
The staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming, always making you feel at home. They're happy to accommodate dietary needs & clearly take pride in what they serve. The atmosphere is relaxed & inviting, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick bite or sitting down to enjoy your meal.
Good food & affordable prices. It's a self service place with very friendly staff. We (my daughter & I) sat & ate plate of kebabs & falafel. During our meal the chef Offered us Arabic tomato rice complimentary with running tea.

The falafel sandwich is enormous & delicious: well-prepared falafel, good sauce, plenty of veggies & a tasty homemade bun. Amazing quality & quantity for mere 9 dollars. Very nice & quick service. Simple decor, but really clean.
We got the kebab & chicken sandwiches, fries & falafel. Of which fries & falafel was good but the sandwiches had no taste at all. Customer service was terrible, the guy at the front was not happy & not helpful at all. The chef however was pleasant. Positive for being open late but food & service was below par.

My sister got a veggie falafel & it was so good, we all had to come get one. The picture didn't look that good honestly but we were blown away. one of the best sandwiches we've ever had! & I'm not vegetarian
We go there or get them delivered almost every weekend & they never disappoint!! The bbq chicken plate is a taste of heaven. But don't sleep on the soup or falafel. It's all so good! They're also very kind, we 🩷 Chef Istanbul.
Falafel pitas were soooo good (& they actually make the pitas in-house! wow!). The fries are also really nice--golden & crispy. I've found my new falafel spot downtown for sure! The owner was there, I think, & he was so nice & responded to all my questions.
