Stopped on a sub-zero day for a deliciois hot chocolate in this tiny, adorable coffee/snack shop. If you love cats, you will love Chat ('cat' in French) Cholate - the cat-focussed decor & shop offerings are over the top! Offers ice cream & sorbet (we stuck to hot chocolate...it was -17°C!) for the summer months. Small, round café tables number less than 5 & are very packed together so no private conversations here. It was like being in a wonderland, the cat paraphernalia abounding. The owner is delightful, as was the experience. Pity I didn't take pictures.

Un bel écrin… mais la magie n'opère pas tout à fait
On est tout de suite charmé par le décor : lustres élégants, ambiance salon de thé à la parisienne, emplacement de rêve face au port… Mais très vite, on se rend compte que l'expérience ne suit pas vraiment. L'endroit est bruyant, avec un va-&-vient constant, & l'espace semble plus pensé pour la vente rapide que pour une pause gourmande. Les produits dérivés (badges, autocollants...) donnent une impression un peu trop marketing à mon goût.
Autre bémol : l'absence de service à table. Une seule personne gérait le comptoir malgré l'affluence, ce qui ralentit pas mal le service. La terrasse, pourtant bien située, manque clairement d'attention : un peu négligée, sans charme particulier.
Côté glace, le choix de parfums est plutôt limité. J'ai tenté le triple chocolat, mais j'ai été franchement déçue : rien de marquant, ni dans la texture ni dans le goût. En revanche, les gaufres artisanales façon galette avaient l'air appétissantes… Avec le recul, j'aurais peut-être dû opter pour ça !
Bref, une adresse qui en jette au premier regard, mais qui gagnerait à aller un peu plus loin dans la qualité de l'expérience.
After walking around for a while, it is such a rewarding place to stumble upon. Small & quaint space but very well decorated & strategically arranged seats for efficient crowd flow. The staff was very nice & patient.
Got an iced pistachio latté for $10. 💸 It tasted like a regular latté; barely a hint of pistachio. 😐🥲
Lots of stuff to buy with cats on it. Mugs, notebooks, journals, pens, bags & etc. 💞💕
Cute place, with tons of cat themed items such as pins, cups, shirts & others. The ice cream was alright but the decor & location made the experience better.
This was our first time visiting, & we really enjoyed the vibe! The cat-themed decor was adorable & cozy, creating a warm & relaxing atmosphere. Both the coffee & matcha latte were very good, & the waffle smelled amazing,we'll definitely try it next time. The little cat-themed gifts were charming, & the overall space was peaceful & inviting. The service was great, & the staff were very kind to us. We truly appreciated the quiet, relaxing time at this café.
This cozy cafe in the heart of le vieux port has a vintage vibe & has endless knickknacks & decor for every car enthusiast. The store mascot is adorable & dashing. The seating is very comfortable to enjoy a cup of coffee alone or with a group. I only saw one outlet should there be a need. The staff were super friendly & proactive in service, even when it got busy. I feel much at ease in an atmosphere where the staff are apparently enjoying their work. I enjoyed the toffee but latte & even the coffee cups were super cute! I loved the attention to detail. Many small items for sale that would make great gifts. Would be happy to drop in again! The only downside was that there is no washroom on site so we had to go a bit down the street to find one.

Super cute cat-themed cafe with interesting decor & good hot chocolate. Only downside is not much seating, so you're often out of luck for a spot to stay awhile.
Nous sommes tombés par hasard sur cette boutique offrant du café & du chocolat chaud. La décoration est géniale avec des chats partout. C'est original & agréablement bien agencé. 3 petites tables pour consommer sur place, il y a une petite terrasse extérieure donnant sur la rue mais moins agréable. Je retournerai assurément
Best soft serve sizes out there. Nowadays the prizes are so high for such small portions but they got the portions here right. The lady is always so kind & makes sure to give a great service. The cafe is also so cute with such nice decoration. I hope they don't change anything about that place
