Im very disappointed. I have been here quite a few times since they have opened. I always had an amazing experience amd once left Them one of the nicest reviews i have ever written to a restaurant. The food has always been amazing. Until, today
I ordered the quesa birria taco plate. Always comes on a platter including 4 Tacos & some consommee to dip. When i received my plate, i noticed the plate looked smaller than usual. Once seated & actually picking up a taco. I knew something was off. I can't 100% say for sure but it does seem like his taco bread has gotten smaller than what he used to serve me in the passed, but again. I can't say for sure. But one thing i can say for sure is that they cut half the ingredients out. I always ordered a plate of 4 tacos & never could eat 3 whole ones & always brought some back. But Today i actually ate all 4 of them & left there still hungry. There wasn't even half of the amount of meat that he used to put in. All i tasted was cheese. They attracted us with nice big portions at the beginning amd now that he has a solid base of clients, he has decided to cut corners & give you half the meat. Don't get me wrong, the food still tasted good & i have no other complaints. But i feel like I was robbed, as crazy as it sounds. For that Caza Tato gets a one star from me Today & i nore my friends will be coming back. Such a shame🤷?♂?

We've been to Casa Tato a few times now, & it's become one of those places we're really glad to have nearby. The tacos are delicious, generously filled, & offer great value for the price. The birria tacos were the highlight for us, with a rich, flavorful broth that really hit the spot.

The atmosphere is warm & family-oriented, making it a comfortable place to sit down & enjoy a meal. Friendly service, great food, & a welcoming vibe-we'll definitely be back.

This place hit all the boxes for flavour price & service. I'm picky when it comes to food & have tried a few Mexican in Montreal however this spot did not disappoint. When I like something I like & I'll be sharing. The Birria was crispy, flavorful & cheesy & the consome was delicious.

My family & I tried the birria, the tacos, & the burrito. Everything was incredibly delicious & tasted authentic. There was a condiment stand as well where you could dress the tacos as you pleased. The staff was friendly & efficient. Highly recommend. We are so happy we tried it.

It's been three weeks. I've been dying to try this place. I frequently go to Mexico two times a year & I'm just in love with their culture & food & especially tacos! When I saw the Instagram posts of Casa Tato I knew I had to try this ! It is absolutely delicious! I ordered the Birria. tacos & it was exactly the same taste as the ones I have in Mexico. I will definitely be Going back! My friends from Mexico are coming down this summer. It will be a real treat for them.!

I am still impressed by the genuine flavours & aromas of the food. I can eat the exact same as in the best taco places in Mexico!
Fried Pork belly stripes were delicious, good salt balance tender & juicy. Beef birria taco was my favourite. Will definitively go again!
Want some pork fat to cook at home or fry, they sell it! Also check out the desserts & some specialty hot/sweet snacks

I think I found my favorite tacos place. Tacos were 10/10. Birrias 10/10 as well! & I forgot to take pictures but the huaraches were delicious too.
