About us

Welcome to Casa Mare, a family-run bring-your-own-wine restaurant that has spanned three generations since 1974.

Founded in 1974 by Marco Fanone, his son Oreste Fanone took over until 2024. Since November 2024, the founder's granddaughter, Sandra, and her husband, Maxim, have taken over the reins of the family business.

A varied menu, a warm decor that will transport you to Italy for an evening and the possibility of bringing your own wine, these are the reasons for our success.

Whether you are looking for a place for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends or family, bring your favorite bottle of wine and come and enjoy your favorite Italian meals.

Good food but not great. Expensive for what you get, even from the table d’hôtes, I guess the BYOW concept makes it up. Service however is spot on. Won’t come back.

The Service was fast& efficient. The food was great. We all had different dishes & All were good. I would recommend the Meat Lasagna, which was delicious. A couple of us had the seafood pizza & it was very good.
This was a wonderful dining experience & I would highly recommend this restaurant .

Amazing food as usual. Perfect setting for a quiet evening. Nora is a sweet & attentive server. Nothing bad to say, it's a little gem in the West Island. I always enjoy my experience there. :)
