As a Mexican, I can confidently say that this restaurant is the real deal! The food tastes just like what you'd find back home. The molcajete was an absolute standout-full of flavor & perfectly seasoned. The moles were rich, complex, & took me straight back to my grandma's kitchen. & the margaritas? On point! The balance of flavors was perfect, & they really know how to mix a drink. The staff was incredibly attentive & welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The ambiance truly transported me to Mexico-beautiful décor, vibrant colors, & the music made me feel right at home. If you're craving authentic Mexican food, this place is a must. Je suis moitié mexicain & j'ai essayé de bons chilaquiles dans plusieurs endroits à Montréal, mais ceux de Casa Azul sont de loin les meilleurs. Ils ont un goût 100 % authentique du Mexique & les portions sont énormes. Je recommande vraiment le brunch de cet endroit, je n'ai aucun doute que c'est le meilleur & le vrai brunch mexicain.View more

A cozy & beautifully decorated Mexican restaurant in Montreal! They offer a wide variety of fresh & delicious Mexican dishes, along with great drink options, especially if you're a fan of mezcal. The Alma Negra mezcal is highly recommended. The staff are incredibly welcoming & friendly. I celebrated a surprise birthday here, & I truly appreciated the thoughtful gestures from the team.
