CARIBOU GOURMAND?
EVERYTHING STARTS WITH A NICKNAME
In addition to being the emblematic animal of Quebec, we were so called "the Caribou" during our visits to France, that it was obvious to borrow the name from this large deer.
French expatriates for several years and very attached to our gourmet roots, it is in Quebec that we decided to drop our bags, and it is a pleasure for us to share with you our love of cooking by combining gourmet seasonal ingredients, our French roots and Quebec influences, in an atmosphere that invites relaxation and conviviality ...

via LibroThe food was delicious & the service was great ! The restaurant is nicely decorated with lots of natural wood! Great location is you want to combine with other activities. The restaurant was quite empty when we went. The only thing missing is a nicer wine & beer list (microbreweries, private imports, etc.)

Nous y sommes alle pour les huitres & elles etaient super bonnes & fraiches un delice
nous avons ensuite mange un plat, c'est simple mais tres gouteux!!

We started with charcuterie board & local cheese plate & shared mussels, autumnal salad & mushroom risotto. Great flavors & usage of seasonal produce. Was there with 2 friends & our daughters on our last night in Montreal. Merci beaucoup!

Un immanquable dans le Mile End !!
Nous sommes allés plusieurs fois au Caribou Gourmand & on a toujours été stupéfaits par la qualité des plats servis. La présentation est digne des grands restaurants, tout est savoureux, & à prix doux. On adore leurs entrées qui sortent de l'ordinaire : cuisses de grenouille, le saumon gravlax & la planche de charcuterie maison !! Beau choix de poissons & de viandes du marché. On apprécie aussi que ce soit frais, local & de saison.
Ils gagnent aussi à être connu pour leur brunch qui est à tomber par terre (boudin noir excellent !!)
Service impeccable dans une ambiance cosy de chalet en rondins de bois.
Bref, on adore, on partage, on y retourne !
via LibroGénial, nouveau restaurant, 10 sur 10. Qualité de la nourriture, cuisson, présentation, choix de nourriture, tout le monde, 5 personnes ont été unanime. Service excellent, le patron est venu nous voir à quelques reprises pour voir si tout aller bien. Verdict, on va y retourner..
via LibroA welcome new addition to the neighbourhood. Delicious brunch menu, hard to choose between several tempting dishes. Went with comfort foods, the Boudin Noir & the pulled porc Grilled Cheese. Both were scrumptious. The delicate savory flavours of the boudin, especially; only downside of this dish is the small portion (more like a appetizer than a main course). Will definitely return to try their dinner menu.

I loved the rabbit confit dish: moist & flavorful, hard to achieve with rabbit. Everyone in our party enjoyed their choices. Terrific Quebecois cheeses & a short but well chosen & thoughtful wine list. Clever low key décor.
