EVERYTHING STARTS WITH A NICKNAME
In addition to being the emblematic animal of Quebec, we were so called "the Caribou" during our visits to France, that it was obvious to borrow the name from this large deer.
French expatriates for several years and very attached to our gourmet roots, it is in Quebec that we decided to drop our bags, and it is a pleasure for us to share with you our love of cooking by combining gourmet seasonal ingredients, our French roots and Quebec influences, in an atmosphere that invites relaxation and conviviality ...

First experience at Caribou Gourmand & it was a good one. First cudos to the service staff all of whom were friendly, professional, efficient & charming. Our waitress had alternate suggestions to the recommended wine pairings & could answer our questions clearly.
All of the dishes were very good & highlights were the bbq duck legs, the yak tartare, the fries & the citrus tart. All were served in a timely fashion.
via LibroNous y sommes allés dans le cadre de MTL à Table. La nourriture était simplement délicieuse! Nous avons particulièrement aimé nos desserts (frasier en verrine & tartetette citron-lime & meringue). Le service était très bien, je recommande forteement!

via LibroAn extremely interesting menu. The duck feet, elk burger & yak tartare were well appreciated by our group. The only item that had mixed reviews was the harp seal tataki which had unique texture & mouth feel.

Sympathique restaurant, proposant une cuisine fraîche & délicieuse! Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion de goûté le burger de wapiti qui semble être le plat phare du restaurant, mais je reviendrai 😁

via LibroPetit restaurant avec employés sympathiques mais au menu que se veut beaucoup plus fancy qu'il ne l'est vraiment. Très ordinaire pour le goût des plats. Gnocchis à 24$ & peut-être seulement 6 petits gnocchis dans l'assiette c'était décevant.

Seule l'entrée de crabe m'a satisfaite à 100%. & les îles flottantes ne correspondaient en rien à la recette traditionnelle avec leur "crème anglaise" ressemblant plutôt à du lait sucré légèrement épaissi & l'absence de caramel. Ce fut ma grande déception car j'adore ce dessert.
