Un de mes héros de la pandémie, je vais régulièrement chez Capitaine Sandwich, la diversité du menu en fait une destination prisée dans l'axe de Duluth même si c'est rendu impossible d'y circuler. Je vous recommande le Big Nan pour une première visite mais le Polpette vaut le détour également. Fait sur commande, servis relativement rapidement pour la qualité, Capitaine Sandwich est rien de moins qu'un des meilleurs rapport qualité/prix du Plateau. Service amical & désinvolte, toujours sympathique sur au moins une vingtaine de visites. Décor décontracté à mi-chemin entre un shack en Louisiane & un diner des années 60s. Recommandé. You walk into this little restaurant, & the first thing I noticed was a lovely, very fit lady with a welcoming smile with dancing eyes.. Decorated in modernized 50's style, shiny steel chairs & tables, & contemporary finished booths, you just sense it will be really good. & it was. I only come to Montreal once or twice a year, & this is a place to return to that feels like family & home. Even the folks who chose to sit outside get a shout in summer through a big open window to get their order. & you're always invited back, a great idea The music today was loud enough to forget your troubles, though some of the cover stuff was just annoying at times, but everyone has their own taste i guess. It's definitely worth a visit with a chef this good at his job. Vous entrez dans ce petit restaurant & la première chose que j'ai remarquée était une charmante dame en pleine forme avec un sourire accueillant & des yeux dansants. Décoré avec des chaises & des tables en acier brillant de style années 50 modernisé & des cabines aux finitions contemporaines, vous sentez que ce sera vraiment bon. & c'était le cas. Je ne viens à Montréal qu'une ou deux fois par an, & c'est un endroit où il fait bon revenir & où l'on se sent comme en famille & à la maison. Même les gens qui choisissent de s'asseoir à l'extérieur reçoivent un appel en été à travers une grande fenêtre ouverte pour récupérer leur commande & vous êtes toujours invité à revenir, une excellente idée La musique d'aujourd'hui était suffisamment forte pour oublier vos problèmes, même si certaines reprises étaient parfois ennuyeuses mais chacun a ses propres goûts, je suppose. Cela vaut vraiment la peine d'y aller avec un chef aussi bon dans son travail.
Première commande aujourd'hui & essaie du sandwich cubain. Un vrai délice !! N'hésitez pas à aller chez Capitaine sandwich j'ai hâte de découvrir les autres saveurs de leurs menu

Oh a sandwich shop after my own heart - this has been a favorite of mine for the last five years. The Cuban is amazing, but my go to sandwich is the halloumo with marinated red cabbage, mint, & coriander. Service is fast & friendly. Be sure to try their lime slush during the summer!!!

Le dejeunan est le meilleur sandwich que j'ai jamais mangé. Je recommande vivement cet endroit, le staff est adorable & l'ambiance très décontractée. 10/10

J'viens tout juste de manger là pour la première fois. J'ai commandé un Déjeunan pis c't'ais écoeurant! Le service était vite & courtoos & l'ambiance est relaxe avec d'la bonne musique qui joue dans le restau.
Chez Capitaine Sandwich, Noël a frappé le 25... mai avec plus de 3000 sandwichs vendus en cette journée de la BD. Nous avons eu le bonheur d'être les tout derniers à savourer/engloutir notre repas assis à la terrasse. Couché sur papier, un « SOLD OUT
