This place used to be AMAZING. Unfortunately the service is awful… i don't want to shame anyone but the waitress literally smelled , my appetite was spoiled. They couldn't even come refill our waters or ask if we wanted other beverages. What a shame…..

I've been here less than a handful of times &, from the first time I've been here through now, their business model seems to have changed a little. They appear to be focusing more on chicken. That's what you see them grilling from the area where you walk in. It seemed like more of a regular Portuguese restaurant when I first went here years ago.

Even if they have changed, I have to admit they do a very good job with preparing chicken in various ways & in a Portuguese manner. On this last trip, I got a very filling platter with boneless chicken, interestingly seasoned potatoes, salad, & rice. You might have to get a little bit of help from the staff to choose from their various chicken options. Between the various employees, you will find someone who speaks French, Portuguese &/or English. I was really satisfied after I left & was so glad I came here.

Both the young lady that was attending to my table & an apparent manager were very friendly & enthusiastic about sharing Portugal with me. The prices are fair & the value here is better than at many of the Portuguese restaurants closer to the city center.

It's really not that far from the Saint Michel Metro station. You can take a bus for that last part if you want, but it's also walkable. It might also be a good idea to walk a little bit after a filling meal here.

Tout est ok sauf une serveuse qui ne devrait pas être là, son nom est Karine & elle est africaine. Elle ne sourit jamais, elle empêche les clients de prendre un petit quelque chose au comptoir ou son les toilettes. Elle leur dit & à moi aussi d'un ton très très dur & quand on lui demande quelques chose qu'on a besoin, on dirait qu'on la dérange.
Dans le passé, elle ne m'a pas fait payé ce que j'ai pris, mais j'était très mal à l'aise de ne pas pouvoir payé.
Aujourd'hui le 17 juil 26, elle a été très très blessante avec moi !!!!
Moi j'ai toujours le sourire & tout les serveurs (ses) m'apprécie beaucoup. Elle empêche aussi une serveuse à prendre son café avant de commencer son service.
Les serveurs (ses) m'ont dit que beaucoup de client se plaigne d'elle !!!!!
& à cause de celà, je n'ai plus envie d'y aller.
C'est malheureux parce que j'aime ce resto, l'ambiance est formidable & les serveurs sont 👍🏼.

À chaque fois que je viens dans ce restaurant la nourriture est toujours top . Les
Deux serveurs ( ce soir, dimanche un gars & une fille , désolé d'avoir oublié toujours vos noms) ils font vraiment la différence , service impeccables & ont ils aiment leurs travail. Merci à vous deux

We have ordered here many times & in March we had ordered & it was not the same as we remembered…having written a review Paolo the owner was kind enough to reach out & we spoke about the problem & offered another meal well today we ordered & it was absolutely delicious! From the chicken to the salad & fries everything was spot on & how we remembered it. So bravo on customer service & definitely always going to your jarry location!
