Elyas took such great care of us. We were served olives, bread & butter. We ordered the meat platter to share & there was plenty. The food is EXCELLENT! It's comfort food.

I'd like to add we came here at 8, & the kitchen closes at 830. They were so accommodating & welcoming. I've worked restaurant & I used to hate when people came before closing. These guys are still kind & work hard. It's little things like that that make a place fantastic!

I've been here less than a handful of times &, from the first time I've been here through now, their business model seems to have changed a little. They appear to be focusing more on chicken. That's what you see them grilling from the area where you walk in. It seemed like more of a regular Portuguese restaurant when I first went here years ago.

Even if they have changed, I have to admit they do a very good job with preparing chicken in various ways & in a Portuguese manner. On this last trip, I got a very filling platter with boneless chicken, interestingly seasoned potatoes, salad, & rice. You might have to get a little bit of help from the staff to choose from their various chicken options. Between the various employees, you will find someone who speaks French, Portuguese &/or English. I was really satisfied after I left & was so glad I came here.

Both the young lady that was attending to my table & an apparent manager were very friendly & enthusiastic about sharing Portugal with me. The prices are fair & the value here is better than at many of the Portuguese restaurants closer to the city center.

It's really not that far from the Saint Michel Metro station. You can take a bus for that last part if you want, but it's also walkable. It might also be a good idea to walk a little bit after a filling meal here.

Horrible service. My husband & I thought we needed to be Portguese to be served. We were seated quickly, then ignored for 15 minutes. People who were seated after us were served before us. We had to flag down the waiter to order. We ordered the soup of the day, which we never got. The food was ok. The fries were delicious, but the rice was bland, & some of the meat platter was overcooked. The only time the waiter was friendly was when we were leaving. I won't be back.

We enjoyed wonderful every platter we chose! Good portions & great deal. The service was outstanding, always considerate your needs. Definitely we will be back!

So i ordered the seafood platter, meat platter & calamari. Unfortunately the young packer messed up & left out the meat platter. Called them & they said no worries. I went back later & the owner Paulo took care of everything. Extremely tasty food. Well worth it & good money value .

Staff were extremely welcoming & friendly. Food was fresh, perfectly seasoned & delicious, portion sizes were generous. The grilled seafood platter was amazing, great for sharing. Highly recommend!
