I tried Emilia at Le Central & overall it was a decent experience. I had the Tina sandwich & it tasted really good. Definitely the highlight of the meal.

Unfortunately, the fries were a big disappointment. They were overcooked, had no salt at all, & just weren't enjoyable. For a place like Emilia, they can definitely do much better with the fries. Come on guys!

The Tina sandwich was solid though, & I'd come back to try some of their other options.

Purchased a Classic 2018 sandwich trio tonight & honestly, it wasn't great. Quantity of chicken seems to have decreased over time & the bread roll was dry. This is a sandwich I've ordered before here, so I know how it should taste. Disappointing….
Rent at Le Central must be expensive, so I understand the need to manage costs. A better approach might be to let go of the branded plates/napkins etc & rather maintain a better quality of food for your patrons

Le lieu est très achalandé, cependant la nourriture est très bonne. Le service est bon, mais de portions plus généreuses pour le prix auraient été mieux, ou des prix un peu plus bas.

Got the chorizo & chicken poutine bowl, staff were friendly & food was very tasty! Also a solid amount of food for the price.

We were there yesterday night to grab a quick dinner, & while the food was definitely above average, the bad service really impacted my rating of the place.

The people served before us were greeted with a smile, not sure why we were treated differently - no smile, absolutely nothing. Felt pretty racist to me, especially the girl at the counter.

Then, waited for the people before us to get their food first (as it was being made to order in front of us) before asking the guy if we could get our food to go instead (I noticed the food was being served in trays), as I recently got surgery & wanted it to go anyway. He told me I'd have to say that at the counter, which I did, & the girl sounded a bit surprised at first (like I had asked something unusual). I hadn't said before that I wanted it to go as I saw paper/plastic containers & thought it came in closed ones, but if there's such a big difference between making the food for here v/s to go, shouldn't the girl at the counter be asking us what we prefer when ordering instead of just assuming?

It's actually a great place. I used to come here & order food after the gym. The chicken rice salad was really good & always consistent in quality! The sauce was really good!
