We had a great takeout lunch from Cal's Pizza. We ordered the steamed hot dog, a cheese pizza, & poutine. The steamed hot dog is the smaller classic-style one, more like the IKEA size than a large barbecue hot dog, but at $1.95 the portion makes complete sense. It was simple, affordable, & did the job.
The cheese pizza was the biggest hit. The kids & I all loved it, & there was not much negotiating required to finish the slices. The poutine was also very good. It was made with thicker, wedge-style fries that stayed crispy instead of turning soft under the gravy & cheese.
One thing we really appreciated was the outdoor picnic tables beside the parking area. One of the kids was napping in the car, so we were able to sit nearby, eat comfortably, & avoid moving him. Any parent knows that protecting a car nap can become the main event.
The prices were reasonable, the food tasted great, & there was no wait. It is a solid place for an affordable family lunch, quick takeout, pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries, & poutine. We would definitely stop here again.

2ème fois chez Cals & ma pizza est encore meilleure que la première. J'ai été servi cette fois par Josiane ( & non Catia), leurs serveuses sont juste extra, rien de négatif, à l'écoute de nos demandes & très souriantes. Vous voulez une ambiance chaleureuse ? Allez-y ! Les serveuses ont une super belle relation avec leur patron, c'est beau à voir ( & très rare).

Cal's pizza est égale à lui-même depuis plus de 46 ans la pizza est toujours aussi bonne, les générations change mais toujours le même bon goût . Petit resto sans prétention.

My mom & I really love this pizza place! We tell them every single time we go it's our favourite pizza! The staff are all awesome, super friendly & the pizza is top-notch!

What started out as my mom saying'Would you like to try a pizza place I used to go to as a little girl?' has quickly turned into my favourite spot!

Je fréquente le restaurant depuis les tous débuts avec le papa Cal.
Pizza avec une délicieuse croûte moelleuse ou croustillante(à la demande), sauce parfumée & garniture toujours généreuse. La meilleure pizza québécoise de la région. Service souriant, accueillant & efficace. Rapport qualité/prix supérieur. On paie cash donc moins chère. Georgiu a su conserver les traditions.

Been awhile since we have stopped by Cals for a pizza. It was as good as I remembered. Only thing was took 25 minutes for the pizzas to be ready other than that no complaints.
