Cafeteria like in Italy 😍. Once I visited this place & there was soup, it was delicious, I've been there other times & I haven't found the soup 😔. I also tried the paninis which were very good & finally the coffee 👌🏼. The coffee here is very good. Customer service always good 👏🏻.
Vintage Italian Cafe with excellent coffee & sandwiches Enjoyed a Mixed Cold Cut Sandwich on a Panini today which was excellent! My wife had the Capicolli & Mortadella Sandwich. Sandwiches come with marinated mushrooms, Provolone Cheese, Lettuce, & Tomato. Can also have hot peppers added if you like. Excellent Service.
We came up to Montreal for the weekend & this place was right next to the airbnb. You can tell it's a pillar of the neighborhood! The staff knew all the regulars & the vibe inside was great! Of the 4 days we were in the city, we went to the caffè for 3 of them! The coffee is delicious & the croissants are flakey!

Great place for late night coffee. We went for a regular Coffee, Doppio & a Canoli. Later on, we also ordered a Hot Chocolate. The beverages were great. Strongest Americano I've ever had - almost an Espresso. Doppio was great. Loved the Hot Chocolate. Canoli was okay. The ambiance is great. Many seating options depending on whether you're alone, with friends, with spouse/gf or a big family. The walls have Italy all over which gives you a great vibe. Only one gentleman handling the entire place, from making beverages to serving at the table. Nice chap. Parking can be a bit challenging as there's street parking which can be full. We had to make two rounds around the block before we could find something. Definitely recommended.
One of the best places to get late night coffee in Montreal. Like having a cappucino in Italy, same atmosphere. Kind service, nice little dessert snacks, please do not ever close. Places like these restore my faith in humanity & provide me comfort. A true oasis that is a part of Montreal's cultural history.
A traditional Italian coffee, there is nothing more to say. 🤗 The atmosphere is friendly & lively, the service is excellent & the drinks delicious, the black coffee a little strong but the cappuccino was simply amazing. We ordered a mocha too, incredible experience

I had a lot of expectations to find finally a spot to fill my italian needs as in talking in italian & have a nice cappuccino & cornetto, as the reviews were positive about em. Was very highly disappointed with the barman that had a very broken italian & couldn't hold a conversation. The cappuccino was so badly made, too much coffee & the milk was all bubbly, I would recommend for the barman to learn on how to prepare the milk for the cappuccino as many other italians might get baited from the name of the place. The cornetto (crossaint) was supposed to be 'ripieno' but clearly the staff needs also a vocabulary, as the crossaint gives only had some bits of chocolate inside.
We also had "cheese toast". The ingredients were: toasted bread & cheese. Just no.
Per tutti gli italiani evitate se cercate un cappuccino dove può farvi ricordare del bel paese. Senza contare ai prezzi esorbitanti. Una vergogna, quasi al livello dell'Italia che non arriva ai mondiali per due volte di fila. Alla ricerca di un altro bar per avere la mia necessità di italiano in Montréal.
