Came here twice during our stay in Montreal-
Lovely delicious brunch & coffee in an adorable shop in Old Montreal just a block or so away from the Notre Dame Cathedral! The servers are all so sweet & attentive especially Dascha (who was sweetly training a new server) the food is delicious & fresh. They also have outside seating. We ate at many places for breakfast during our stay & this was by far our favorite!

Wonderful light open dining area. Probably the best iced chai latte I've ever had. Great service in English & French. Breakfast was fresh & delicious.

Delicious breakfast. All the ingredients were fresh & well prepared! We had avocado toast & the Ukrainian breakfast.Coffee
was rich Service was prompt & welcoming. Try it when you are in Montreal.

5 stars all around! We had an incredible meal here. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious & freshly prepared. On top of the great food, the service was exceptional-attentive, friendly, & made us feel genuinely welcome. Highly recommend checking this place out!

I do not typically leave bad reviews but I felt after visiting Cafeterra based on the good reviews, I believe an honest review was required. My husband & I visited Cafeterra on Tuesday morning & were extremely disappointed with both the food & service. After waiting quite a long time for our food to arrive, it was both cold & our order was incorrect. When expressing our concern to our server, my plate was taken back to be re made correctly & over 20 minutes later I still had no received my new plate. In the meantime, my husband also let our server know his food was brought to the table cold (his potatoes), his toast was hard & stale tasting & the eggs that were part of his breakfast & suppose to be scrambled was actually an omelette. Instead of apologizing & seeing how they can make it right, the told my husband the eggs were scrambled, clearly they don't know the difference, they could go reheat his potatoes, rather than offer to bring him fresh ones & would check with the kitchen on the bread..... All in all it was a terrible experience & I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone!

We had brunch at Caffetterra & absolutely loved it! The food was fresh, delicious, & beautifully presented. Every dish was full of flavor, & the coffee was excellent. The atmosphere is cozy, stylish, & perfect for a relaxing brunch with friends or family. The staff were friendly, attentive, & made us feel very welcome. We'll definitely be coming back & highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great brunch experience!

The service here is honestly top notch. I came in during the morning rush & was impressed by how efficiently the team handled the crowd while still maintaining a pleasant attitude toward every customer. My order was ready surprisingly fast & tasted fresh. It is clear that they take pride in what they do here. The space is kept very clean & organized, which is always a major plus for me when deciding where to grab a drink. I appreciate the consistency & will certainly be back again very soon.

This is such a wonderful spot right in the heart of the city! The atmosphere inside is incredibly cozy & welcoming - perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The food is genuinely delicious, with fresh, flavorful options that really stand out.
What I especially appreciate is the owners' smart decision to have a no-laptops policy. It keeps the place feeling like a true café rather than a makeshift office, so no one hogs a table all day with just one coffee. Even when it's busy & all seats are taken, the turnover is quick & fair - you can always wait comfortably for a spot without feeling rushed. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great food in a relaxed, social vibe!!
