I found the food to be refreshing & well put together. Along with that the staff was very accommodating & kind, making the atmosphere all the more enjoyable. Overall a very lovely experience & a very lovely cafe.

I do not typically leave bad reviews but I felt after visiting Cafeterra based on the good reviews, I believe an honest review was required. My husband & I visited Cafeterra on Tuesday morning & were extremely disappointed with both the food & service. After waiting quite a long time for our food to arrive, it was both cold & our order was incorrect. When expressing our concern to our server, my plate was taken back to be re made correctly & over 20 minutes later I still had no received my new plate. In the meantime, my husband also let our server know his food was brought to the table cold (his potatoes), his toast was hard & stale tasting & the eggs that were part of his breakfast & suppose to be scrambled was actually an omelette. Instead of apologizing & seeing how they can make it right, the told my husband the eggs were scrambled, clearly they don't know the difference, they could go reheat his potatoes, rather than offer to bring him fresh ones & would check with the kitchen on the bread..... All in all it was a terrible experience & I DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant to anyone!

Terrible, would not recommend. >1 hour on service & food, service is terrible. Plenty of other excellent cafes to go to in Montreal, I would avoid this place if you don't want a ruined meal experience.

Quelle belle découverte dans le Vieux-Montréal. J'ai passé un moment vraiment agréable autour d'un café parfaitement préparé & de délicieuses tartines à l'avocat.

La présentation des plats est soignée & tout était très frais. J'ai particulièrement aimé les petites tranches d'agrumes fraîches dans mon verre qui ajoutaient une belle touche de couleur. L'ambiance est relaxante, idéale pour bien commencer la journée. J'ai hâte de revenir pour goûter au reste du menu.

Had a lovely brunch at Cafeterra today! I enjoyed huge portion of smoked salmon, while my partner got the rustic breakfast & had some very tasty potatoes & mushrooms in his dish. Was very easy to walk up & get a nice spot on the patio & servers were great. Thank you!!!

I stumbled upon Cafeterra while walking through the neighborhood & decided to stop in for a quick break. The atmosphere is very calm & inviting, making it a perfect spot to sit down with a book for an hour or so. The coffee was prepared perfectly & the staff seemed genuinely friendly without being overbearing. It is rare to find a place that hits the right balance of comfort & quality, but this location manages it quite well. I will definitely be making this a regular stop in my routine.

I had a wonderful experience at Cafeterra this past weekend. It was quite busy but the staff managed the line efficiently & my order came out quickly. The interior has a great aesthetic that feels both modern & comfortable. It is clear that they put a lot of care into the environment they have created. I will certainly be back again soon for another visit.
