They have the best kebabs in Montreal. You can have a good time in an Iranian environment. If you like to enjoy live Iranian music, you can try Saturday nights.
Amrita welcomed us & provided great service including making sure we knew about what we ordered- we love Persisn food so we do know but we appreciated her care.
I had fessenjoon with Cornish hen - pictured. Tasty, beautiful & more than I could eat. The sauce was a good balance of the typical ingredients without being overly sweetened. Pistachios were a nice surprise along with more traditional almonds & pomegranate seeds.
My husband enjoyed his gormeh sabzi.
We ate at about 5:30 & we're the only people in the restaurant on a Friday. We knew it would be livelier a little later when the music would start & kebabs would be available. But we were hungry & it was nice to have Amrita's full attention for ourselves.
Always warm atmosphere & nice service with live music 🙌 thanks 🙏
I love having live music in the restaurant ❤?❤?❤?
You need to try homemade cocktails the owner has made himself, you never have something like that in your life ❤?❤?
Everything was perfect - the staff was friendly, & the atmosphere was cozy. The service was quick, & the live music on Saturday night added a fantastic touch! The Mirza Ghasemi wasn't good-I didn't like it at all. However, their Dizi (main course) was absolutely delicious!
We live nearby & had been walking by Café Toranj for months so we finally decided to give it a try & the place surpassed our expectations. Delicious Iranian food, very nice staff, some lovely live music to accompany our meal, we couldn't have been happier with our evening. As newly arrived immigrants, the waiters & cooks are not fluent in french but they will do their best to explain the menu & make your evening enjoyable. As a group of 10 people, we appreciated their flexibility & openness. The atmosphere is nice, although it could be slightly improved with better/dimmer/warmer lighting in certain parts of the restaurant.
Very nice presentation of food & dinnerware. Saturday good live music & nice atmosphere
as an Armenian, I confirm this place is very nostalgic. Good food, very middle easterny decor which makes me feel like home & love the music ! Definitely will be coming back ❤️
The food quality is good; we ordered ash reshteh & kashko bademjoon for starters & koobideh & jooje kebab for the main course. However, the main dish arrived at the same time as the starter, forcing us to set aside the starter to focus on the main course. Typically, the main dish should be served after the starter is finished. The smell of propane gas is very noticeable & annoying upon entering the restaurant. Another point to mention is the music. I'd prefer constant background music in a restaurant rather than 30-second snippets of different songs, which an employee keeps changing from one style to another. It's a bit annoying & unprofessional. I'll be back to enjoy some Persian food again, & I hope to have a better experience next time.
Tasty authentic Iranian food & amazing atmosphere! Really enjoyed the live music on Saturday night. Would definitely go back!
Iranian food can be a bit sour for my taste buds, but it was a very unique restaurant, with live Persian music & flavorful entrées.
So good! Love the service & the food is some of the best i've had in Montréal. ...If i could suggest something: the lighting could be dimmer to make the evenings feel more beautiful. & Persian music would be sublime.
