Un café iranien exceptionnel à Montréal, Café Toranj, qui m'a invité à un véritable voyage en Iran. Dès que je suis entré, l'accueil chaleureux du personnel, l'ambiance conviviale & la musique traditionnelle iranienne ont créé une atmosphère unique. Chaque bouchée des plats, en particulier des khoreshs (ragoûts) savoureux, m'a transporté aux quatre coins de l'Iran avec des saveurs authentiques & inoubliables. La gestion est excellente & a amélioré le service, le rendant bien meilleur qu'avant. Une expérience culinaire, un voyage culturel à ne pas manquer !
Iranian food, Farsi culture. The food was generous & tasty. The quality & selection of tea is outstanding. Service is so very friendly. The atmosphere is eclectic & funky. The food is Iranian, (so don't expect egg rolls or hamburgers) & may seem unfamiliar to many, but the pride of the service & yearning to share their culture makes for a very soft landing as you stretch your horizons. The food is not cheap, but is all high quality & certainly of fair value all things considered.
Really lovely atmosphere & the food is very good. The only downside is that it is quite expensive compared to cafes around but its worth a try if you live around & want to try something different!

Unique spot, incredible food, the Persian omelette was like no egg dish I've ever had before. Very welcoming, cozy, neighborhood, artsy vibe. Staff had the right balance of serving you & leaving you be. Books abound if you like reading with your meal. Brunch served til 4pm every day. Highly recommended.
First time I tried the culture Iranian, food was Amazing, will definitely come back. Will definitely suggest to my friends circle. I will love to share this for people like me, Who wants to give a try to Iranian food. Very good👍👍✨
My visit to Toranj Café was exceptional. The Persian ambiance, warm hospitality, & stunning presentation made the experience unforgettable. The dishes were not only visually appealing but packed with flavor-standouts included the Fesenjoon with pomegranate & walnut sauce, & the crispy tahdig rice. Every dish was seasoned to perfection & beautifully plated. The staff were attentive & offered great recommendations, making the meal even more enjoyable. If you're looking for authentic Persian cuisine in Montreal, Toranj Café is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Le lieu demande une période mise-à- jour. Malgré qu'il y a des fauteuil, soit qu'on les nettoyé à Valérie ou on les remplacent. L'autre pourrait être clarifiée. Il y a des années de plusieurs saveurs suggèrent dans l'air. Malgré tout cela, Toramj demeure un beau petit café authentique. La nourriture est toujours délicieuse & très bien présentée. Ce sont les petites touches qui la rendent alexis comme la tête de prétoire rose dans une tasse de verre pour le thé vert. Les personnes qui servent sont aimables & très bien.
Really delicious & simple meals that come out in style. I tried the Gheimeh Nesar Ageau which is a lamb rice plate with middle eastern dried fruits & spices. It was really fresh & tasted homemade. Not too strong of a flavor, it was delicious though. & then i also tried for the first time a saffron decaf latte with soy milk. It was a bit earthier & richer taste them coffee on is own. It just masked all the sweetness & made the coffee taste more mature to my palette. It was really good! This Iranian/Persian cafe is beautifully designed & perfect for hanging out or a date & to have Turkish coffee, tea, share plates & desserts & more. One small note is that there is some cleaning that could be done & service is not so attentive... you will have to get up & ask to be waited on. Also, plates are a bit pricey, but they are filling. My plate could've fed two easily.
The staff could of cared just a bit more, I wasn't checked on during my meal ( was not busy during this time) I got the Do Piaze, wasn't worth 15$ & the rose & Saharan was refreshing but also not worth 11$ in total spent 33$ & felt it lacked ambiance, attentiveness, & both quality & quantity of food. & I had to bring in my own food along with asking to pay because I was attended to at all after getting my dish. But, presentation of food was beautiful.

Had heard a lot about this place, known for the best persian food in the area. The chicken rice dish is supposed to be the most famous, so we tried that, & the eggplant platter, which was okay. But the bread that came along was really tasty. We did find the yogurt sauce with rice was less, & when we asked for more, they didn't have it. Overall, it was an amazing experience, will definitely go again.
Went with my girlfriend, we both liked the food. large portions. Staff were friendly. Would recommend. It cost around $45 for us to have a full meal with coffee.
Déjeuner : bacon difficile à mastiquer, fromage jaune sec & étrange, pas de sel & de poivre mis sur la table (la serveuse restait à la cuisine, je donc attendu, un certain temps, j'ai dû attirer sont attention ) dispendieux pour 20$ ( pas de tranche de pain inclu ) patate bouillie, pomme non coupée dans un bol. On me parle juste en anglais. Le point positif, c'est que le café est très bon. Décor pittoresque & sympathique 😅pas fait pour déjeunée ( déçu )
